Was cruising through the area after work one day and pulled off the exit just to check it out, and saw this BSW by the CVS so pulled in. Bingo number one. Chinavirus is seasonal as are all coronavirus', colds, flu's, etc. Winter time is peak time of course. One of the low information mooks on here posted a study that showed in UK 99.5% percent of all deaths were unvaxed. Their time period was Jan to July 2021. What they didn't tell you was that 99% of deaths occurred before 1% was fully vaxed. They only became fully vaxed in spring and summer as deaths plummet just like they do with the flu due to seasonality. What I hear about hospitalizations is, for example, 2 people show up at hospital with chest pains. One's vaxed, the other isn't. Both tested for covid. Both positive. Unvaxed is listed admtted for Covid symptoms. Vaxed is listed as admitted for chest pains. With all these lies and bullshit, wonder what's going to happen this winter when essentially no one is vaxed due to the mutations that occurred from trying to vax everyone.

As we are now, 75% of adults vaccinated according to NYT. Combined with natural immunity, CDC says at least 80% have some immunity to Covid. Those should be herd immunity numbers. Instead, August 2021 had about 3 million more cases and 600+ more deaths than August 2020. Something ain't right.

And, '98% of everyone over 65 in Maine is at least partially vaccinated, 93% are fully vaccinated, yet hospitalizations in that age group are as high as they were last winter when none were vaccinated. '.

But, but it's the booster that will save us. I don't think so. From the NY Times: 'Researchers in Israel reported that a third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine can enhance protection in adults older than 60 for at least 12 days a result that is unsurprising, experts said, and does not indicate long-term benefit. ' So a booster every two weeks until you die from mRNA spike proteins induced blood clots.

The CDC indicated as of July 12th, a total of 1,063 fully vaccinated Americans have died of "breakthrough" Covid-19 cases compared to 604,779 total, with those not fully vaccinated accounting for 99.8% of deaths. That comparison is obviously unfair as for much of that timespan little or no population was vaccinated. Many media sources have wrongly used that comparison. However as of July 12th the USA was 48.6% fully vaccinated or close to half and 54.5% as of September 13th, meaning a comparison of deaths since then is either a fair comparison, or outright slanted in the reverse direction. So how did cumulative deaths from July 12th to September 13th change?:

Deaths (fully vaccinated)=3,040 (+1,977).

Deaths (total)=659,181 (+54,402).

96.4% of deaths were from those not fully vaccinated. Not as lopsided as some media sources make it out to be, but still overwhelmingly unvaccinated, despite them now being a minority of the population, as well as disproportionately younger and healthier. In fact the % of vaccinated dying seems to be going down as vaccinations go up. Not long ago the numbers were more like 95% unvaccinated.

Cases and herd immunity are more complicated questions I admit as well. While I personally suspect that the vast majority of cases are also unvaccinated, numbers for that are hard to come by, and testing is not done randomly which means asymptomatic cases are hard to account for. The scientific consensus on whether or not we can achieve herd immunity for Covid-19 or if it will simply evolve too fast for vaccinations (or prior infections) to be contained that way (as is the case with flu strains) is uncertain, in part because the slower people vaccinate the more likely something like that is to occur. It is quite possible that the long-term outcome is an annual Covid-19 vaccine, quite possibly delivered alongside the annual flu vaccine.

So far to my knowledge like 3 deaths have been plausibly attributed to vaccine driven blood clots and all of them was the Johnson and Johnson vaccine that doesn't use mRNA. So far the mRNA vaccines have worked out solidly with no sign of serious side effects. The thing about 100's of millions of people getting vaccines means you have a huge pool of people to watch for rare and unexpected side effects, but so far so good.
