The government has unlimited funds and time to prosecute these frivolous matters, while true murders / crimes ravage our inner cities. People are really scared; businesses are moving out. It's the wild west. Anyone can do whatever they want, but they focus on these three idiots. SAD.

But it's important to remember that there are a variety of factors at play for each individual client, and not everyone is (yet) out of the woods. Risks remain for some, as I've posted about here:

All of which is simply to say that there's a balance between unwarranted worry, and a false sense of complacency, that every client will need to assess for themselves. For everyone not directly involved, hopefully this serves as a reminder about the risks of the hobby, esp when it comes to divulging personal info.

Anything is possible but it is very likely they will keep the client list under wrap because of potential legal liability. Some of the names and identities may be borrowed by other people and having the names in public may cause real personal, family, financial, business and professional damages which would lead to backlash and lawsuits. The Maine Zumba case was very unique. There were actual video recording and other evidences. About half of the reported 100 to 150 clients were charged including mayor, minister, firefighter and coach. That incident was 10 years ago and there has not been another case like that since.
Anything is possible but it is very unlikely they will go after everyone on the client list. It is going to take resources they don't have. Sexual conduct for a fee is a low priority enforcement item unless it causes public quality of life issues or complains. There just have not been that many stings and other enforcement actions in the recent past. They do it to squash down on the activity and in this case they have been very successful. It has been on local and national news very prominently. What would be the additional policy benefits of pursuing clients on the list? They will never say they would not pursue any client list. There are some people in the population who take the extreme position that sex work always involve human trafficking.
The BTT bust is another bust that happens from time to time. This too shall pass and others will rise up to meet demand which is not going away. Demand from every profession including our bros in LE. Back in the summer XOC was busted and there has not been any going after the clients. XOC was a much larger and better organized operation. The HSI affidavit on BTT listed 3 units in the same building and some very explicit texts which are probably not the best current practices in this line of business in my opinion.

These idiots were depositing LARGE quantities of CASH into their personal bank accounts and making money orders with the cash, read the affidavit. Not to mention, keeping everyone's personal information, is just the icing for a huge newsworthy story. Clearly, very low hanging fruit for the feds to grab.

My point about political pressure is simply that, once a high-profile case has gone public, the ability of politicians to exert influence or pressure is greatly diminished. I wasn't making any point about the origin of the case.

So far most of the legal action has happening in MA. With the intense media focus on this case, there should be something in news reports if a criminal complaint has been filed. Of course, the initial arrests would have been supported by a criminal complaint, so maybe that's what the Fairfax atty is talking about. And, if that's the case, those complaints would contain info substantially similar to what's in the search warrant affidavit.

And I continue to think that what's currently happening is that the evidence obtained in the searches is being evaluated to produce the strongest possible indictment. And, even once the initial indictment is handed down, that isn't necessarily the final word. The prosecution can file superseding indictments if they find more evidence.
Edit: I just went back and scanned thru the publicly released affidavit and it appears to my non-lawyer eye that the same document was used to support both the arrests and the search.
