My Guess Is
Asian massage parlors would attract too much attention, especially if their business is primo. There's already a huge liking in the Asian fetish and for a notel to have constant traffic of unregistered guests. Would probably concern staff which will eventually draw in Uncle. There's suspicion of human trafficking within the AMPs which has been investigated in the past. I'm guessing aving their own brick and mortar bldg would help keep any such activities more low key vs being in already attention getting areas such as the JTB, Bmeadow, Tinseltown Triangle.
