For instance, one doesn't have to be worried about a nasty divorce to recognize it's always a risk and act accordingly.

If a meteorite falls from the heavens and lands on your head? There is an inherent risk in any venture.

Posts: 3354For the past several weeks, anytime I logged on I was offered the discount. Once I even was offered 33% off. I missed that chance, though. It was in a window that just popped up. I eventually clicked it and got my membership. This is the code it automatically entered on the payment page, I have no idea if it would work for anyone else.

Posts: 1449Not sure about anybody else but I get ghosted quite a bit. It's part of the game for every 10 that does it there's one or two legit players. For me it's about numbers. The more I do odds are I get a nibble. I also use other sites like BLK and tinder. BLK has been pretty productive for me. But I have no SO so it's easier with those sites posting a picture and all. And surprisingly there are ton of want to be SB's on there novice's and the seasoned veterans. Be safe.

Posts: 3354IDK depends on the girl. And who you are approaching. If someone is in fact an UTR escort, texting her a dollar amount might be appreciated. If she's a regular girl, a wannabe sugar baby, I think it might horrify her and she'd stop responding.

After I get the POTS Phone numbers, I text them, and they text back one word "Hi", or "Yes" Then go silent.

Nobody else has encountered this kind of texting silence, or texting ghosting?

Posts: 113Yeah none of that applies to me. If my medical date got breached I might have a reason to sue, that's about it. Sorry you fear going through a nasty divorce, that must be rough.

Posts: 2796It has nothing to do with "conservative" or liberal. State can be a "California wannabe" and still require I'd to get STD testing. My point is check the laws or regulations in your state before assuming. There is a difference between so called "annonymous" and private and confidential.

What is the definition of "necessary?" Who is the arbiter of such?
"In the United States, there is no such thing as an anonymous STD test. Although you can get an anonymous HIV test, all other STDs are reportable diseases in every state."
https://whatismystatus.com/anonymous-std-testing/
which contains a pretty good "How To" guide of getting tested anonymously.
and yes, it suggests you would never be asked for ID at the test site where you go to give samples, which could be true or not. fwiw.

Posts: 2796What are the consequences of Outting ones STD Testing?
I guess all those who live their lives through SM don't have a clue about privacy? The privacy concern is that with the force of law (supeona, etc) nothing "on record" is truly private. You get in a nasty divorce proceeding and it is discovered you got STD checked a bunch of times. What happens when Apple, Google, FB or some business decides it is in the best interest to spy on your cell phone to protect the "greater good?" What happens when the STD check records of one of those testing sites gets hacked and published in some Ashley Madison style breach? Who knows what the next iteration is of less privacy or "outting" of people is?

Thank you so much for the information. I figured as much. I wonder if anyone has had any experience with her.

I checked the card online, nothing amiss. I phoned the toll-free number, the message said that I hadn't added a zip code to the card. Not true, I did it yesterday, but whatever. I went through the phone process to add the zip code, waited a half hour, and then had No trouble using it to pay for my month of membership. Hooray.

I am attempting to get a month membership on seeking.com, and am acutely aware of all the pitfalls and pointers that have appeared on this thread recently. I am using the OneVanilla Prepaid Visa Card. I bought it yesterday. I got online and verified its balance. I even called and through a wacky unreliable phone tree, I entered in a zip code.
I just tried to use it to pay for my 20% discounted membership (seemingly available most of the time), and I got rejected. Twice.
I emailed seeking customer service to ask them to run the card, they used to do that.
BTW, this is posted on the intake form for Customer Service:
Currently, we are not able to accept European-issued American Express or Diner's Club cards. Please use a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, GooglePlay, or a prepaid card.

Posts: 113I'm not sure what the privacy concern with medical testing is? Is it you just don't want a bill or test result mail to your house because of a wife?
