$60 in 2017 is inflation adjusted today at very close to $70.

If there is inflation in the economy and you are not raising your prices then you are making less. Getting more customers is very difficult and zero owners see that as a way to cover less spending power.

The good providers all hustle just as we would expect them too.

How long has the price been $60 for an hr?

Rent goes up, utilities go up, supplies goes up year over year, if the owners is not raising the base price then they are not going backwards, the only way to overcome is by increasing the number of customer.

Tips have gone up for sure and that compensates the girls but not so much the owners. And yes some are working to.

Expecting prices to stay the same for 5 years is just not realistic in any service industry.

I know of a Lulu and Amanda that are usually there. I enjoy both of them. Massages are great. Although most would find Amanda to be the better looking of the two I usually prefer Lulu. Amanda doesn't seem thrilled about being there and also smokes. I did experience another provider there about 2+ weeks ago. Probably less attractive an older than the others but was perky. Didn't get her name but I usually call ahead for Lulu.

You bring up restaurants? How can you compare though. Server makes 3.25 an hour plus tips. Massage girl gets 75% of the house fee so even at 60 bucks she has made 45 dollars, and the server 15 (including tips if they are lucky).

Unless they give you the best massage you've ever had I would tip 10 to be nice, but not more.

Even the girls acknowledge that the tip is for "additional services'. Typically they ask what you want and then ask "how much you tip for that?

Massage girls are like strippers in that they get you into a vulnerable position and do their best to hustle your wallet dry. No ill will, but lets call it what it is. I know some guys will say that the girl they get massages from is "different" and all that really means is that she's playing you and got you believing you are "more special" than other customers. Just part of the hustle.
