As you say, very frustrating. There are other sites where one can see some of those ads that are / were on RubRatings, but not very convenient. As it is, the hobby is getting more and more frustrating and disappointing, what with 1) the outrageous rates these women try and charge, and 2) the lack of independent providers who ask for reasonable rates. Not sure if and when it will improve.

Planned to visit Sun Spa based on recent positive reports but opted for Orchid instead, because of a shorter commute and AvereageQ's review. I've never seen them even bring up the subject of the tip. A refreshing change from gals in other places who interrupt the session to get their money upfront, or suggest you pay $$ for a HE (which you might see happen at Smiling Art in Ballard).
