I dig hanging out with girls who either have or don't have tattoos. That being said, there are several tattoos that are automatic turn-offs for me and I usually decide not to see a girl who has:

1. The gun tattoo that's placed to look like it's stuck in her waistband or in a garter on her thigh.

2. The "claw paws" - usually placed on her cleavage or on her thigh.

3. The crown. Like she's a princess.

Do any of you guys react negatively to chicks who have certain tattoos?

I myself do not like tattoos, and especially on a woman. Maybe a discrete one here and there is OK, but for the most part, I do not like them.

Either your ego is that fucking fragile or you don't know how read people? Most offices / businesses frown upon interoffice dating because it can end / will in drama and quite possibly a lawsuit. Don't shit where you eat.

Years ago, I made a policy: I will not date co-workers. I will not date any women at work, and I will not pursue any women at work. I was adamantly against inter office dating. But, now my tune is: As long as I'm not courting the women, and as long as I'm not being courted by women, I'm fine with what others do. Just leave me out of it.

If you're going to pursue a co-worker, tread carefully. For me to date a co-worker, she would have to bring FIVE times as much to the table, based on the risk I would be taking.

Your colleagues who you enjoy working with, are still the same (despite your own paranoia, that they are laughing at you and judging you). And, your job Duties haven't changed a bit.

Yet, because of a courtship, that ended in rejection, you went from loving your job, and looking forward to going to work every day, to hating your job and office, and even having "fits of wanting to quit. ".

I won't tell you not to court co-workers. I'm just telling you to tread carefully, think it through, and look three or four steps ahead, just in case it doesn't go your way.

This is rather interesting that you say that, Rex, because I was raised in a very Dutch family. Both sets of my grandparents on both sides were Dutch and I picked-up parts of the language from listening to them as a child. I've never formally studied and they didn't actively teach us children, but today I can generally get around in the language, though speaking and writing are weird as I often confuse the grammar. This actually helped a lot when I was in Afrikaner country while in South Africa, Afrikaans is a much simpler form of Dutch.
