I turned on my VPN mid-session and that triggered something at SA. No problems with VPNs and SA in general, but a rapidly changing IP address makes them think you're a problem. Customer service had it back in a day or so.

Based on my admittedly limited experience way more than 1% of the gals on SA are not what they claim to be. That's not to say they're LE. I haven't encountered that. But, scammers of all varieties, yes. Druggies, yes. No relation in real life to the photos, yes. Scary criminal history, yes. Plenty of gals will do a meet and greet over coffee, or drink, or dinner. Its a way to screen them, and better to hold off discussing details of an arrangement once you are in person and have a safer feeling.

Agree. I think whatever the risks are on SA a simple public M&G mitigates most of them. If there are LE on SA then skipping on the 'meet right now' girls pretty much elminates them. Of course anything that's imaginable is possible, but its very, very unlikely most LE jurisdictions are going to commit the resources to enagage in a drawn out process to nab a guy or girl for what's in most places a misdemeanor. And many of the scammers, druggies, etc. That bring down the level of the site also won't want to put in the time to go through with that step, always pushing to get on to the paid stages (or demanding to be paid for simple M&Gs!

Nothing more from my point of view. I had an account there until July, deleted it, decided to make a new one a couple days ago. I log in last night and suddenly it shows a screen saying I'm suspended and I get an e-mail saying the same. Send a message to customer support, no response. Tried to log in this morning and it says my account has been deleted. And just yesterday, I paid for the membership upgrade, too. Real nice.

Sounds like your sa account being suspended is unrelated unless there's more to the story.

I'm certain the majority of SA ladies are legit but even if only 1% of ads are something other than what they claim to be, then I suppose caution and treading smartly with 100% of all interactions is the way to go. Dipping my toes into the SA waters. Do you need to pay these guys to actually message the girls? I can't decide if that's worth it or not.

Acid. If you don't pay for a membership, you'll have no communication with the girls. For SA, no membership means you're just viewing profiles and teasing yourself. CE.

Never would think someone's a dick for trying to spread useful info. But when I search around, the only legal troubles I see involving SA so far are guys busted for hooking up with underage girls or related crimes like assault, blackmail, etc. Almost always after the fact. I can't find any account of a 'typical' arrangement ending with a potential SD busted for solicitation or something similar. Either way, I was just counseling common sense and caution vs cutting-and-running over paranoia. I think the legal risks of fooling around on SA are much smaller than partaking of traditional escorts, especially the lower-end providers, and the biggest concerns are privacy and personal security. But I'm always open to being further informed / educated by any experiences that are shared here!

Now that backpage is gone do you think all those cops that were running stings there have retired or opened donut shops? They are doing the exact same stuff there they did on BP, trapping pedos, getting guys to show up for dates. It doesn't matter if you believe me or not, time will tell and I'm telling you, as the guy who reads a couple thousand posts all over this forum on a daily basis that it's already happening.

I have to say though that I hope that through this delusion people have about arrangements public opinion will be pulled to the place, like it did with weed, where chicks can just sell pussy if they want to like the rest of the civilized world.

And especially A2's last argument that with Backpage now being gone, with previous stings associated with that site, do the Sting Masters just shut up shop or seek alternative sites to sting. Columbo trench wearing, cigar smoking, disheveled food for thought. Is SA a website where prostitution trying to hide itself in 'date a coed for gifts' clothing. Of course it is. Is LEO keeping on eye on it potentially seeking new avenues for arrests. Quite possibly and I would even say probably. Is my paranoia justified. I've always taught my kids to follow their guts / intuition and I usually try to follow my own advice, so my gut tells me it is. That is absolutely true. Had a very attractive lady in her late 30's hit me up. Her ad said "monthly allowance in the 5 figures per month". Told her politely she was crazy.

Few weeks later she's back messaging me and wants 1000/ meet. Politely tell her she's still delusional.

Couple weeks after that she's back and says how about 500/ meet.

I would never say I know for sure, but its most likely this is just paranoia and the girl parroting back half-understood news she's heard.

First, there's no Federal law on the books that applies to the indivdual transactions that make up the hobby. Think about it. If that were true then the legal Nevada brothels wouldn't be able to exist inside the US borders. Check this page as a reference: https://prostitution.procon.org/view...ourceID=000119. Feds are concerned about trafficking across state or country borders (especially in the current anti-immigration environment), or 'coercion' to lure girls again across states or into the country. FOSTA-SESTA is a new wrinkle, but that law targets website providers specifically, not individual providers / clients. So that puts the whole marketplace at risk of being shut down and is the obvious motivator behind many of the changes on SA and aversion to all the old 'allowance' and ppm references. In the unlikely case they're trying to sting SA based on that law, I'd think it would be a girl that would be targeted so they could document an offer of $ for services using the site. Keep in mind that despite all the frantic shutting down of sites and extreme fear, there has not yet been a trial, let alone a conviction, based on FOSTA-SESTA (the Backpage seizure is still crawling through pre-trial).

So that leaves your local LE which obviously can aggressively enforce their own anti-prostitution laws. In this case again, there's little reason other than possibly headlines to commit the resources to sting people on SA when they can put an ad up wherever ads are now and net a dozen guys in a few hours. To avoid even this small chance, you just need to use the same common sense that's been pushed on here for years. Don't discuss prices and acts ahead of time and don't share personal info at any point in the process. If you stick to the 'traditional' arrangement process. M&G, agreement on arrangement terms face-to-face, and moving to a location you control. You're pretty close to 100% safe. There's no way a stretched-thin local PD is going to commit an undercover team to go through a drawn-out meeting and negotiaiton to nail one guy for a likely misdemeanor.

I'm sure there may be other opinions or more to the story, but that's the way I see it. I think it can be happy hunting in the SB herd if you keep your head on reasonably straight.

Not trying to be a dick but there have already been stings run on SB sites. You can google it and find it. Guys have reported them on the forum.
