$40 drinks are served in the following circumstances:

1. To anyone with whom they think they can get away with it, I. E. A newbie preferably drunk and waving a credit card or wad of cash. This applies to both KB and VB.

2. At a VB bar when seated in a rear play booth. Otherwise drinks are regular $20.

3. At a KB when KBG drinks an imported beer usually Heineken.

4. At Maui KB when KBG joins the customer and drinks a full bottle of regular beer or "real" shot as opposed a cocktail glass full of ice and about 2 oz of beer (or tea).

You should be in a back booth playing for any forty dollar drink. If it's at the bar or a front booth they are trying to take advantage of you. Doesn't matter what it is. Hope you said no or got some play if you did buy it.

I am not one to tell anyone what to do, but in my opinion, if you going to do anything BB you should get checked out anyway. Many of us do things we KNOW we shouldn't but we all know the risks in what we do. I've done stuff I know I regretted. Thinking with the little (sometimes wrong) head. You do what you do but I just say "Better to be safe than sorry" right?

Ti was the bartender I think.

They did have fresh food from the kitchen and it was good quality. I don't drink anything other than beer so can't comment on bar tending skills but she did a decent job from what I saw.

I can't speak to whether their husbands know they play or the girls lie to them. But a lot of these women do have viet husbands or boyfriends. I have to believe in a lot of cases the husband must know what is going on.

Went this past Saturday, went early so most of the guys in there were sitting at the bar watching football. Candy and another older lady tending bar. Lily (Mistys, Saigon Palace) was there too. She was looking pretty good, wanted to sit with her; but totally ignored me. Does she still play or is it just me? Candy came by and told me if I came back later (8 pm) would have 1 haole and 4 local girls working. She said they would be fun, but I dunno; haoles and local girls no play. If they do going cost $$ And as for Candy not playing, because she married; I think that's horseshit. When she was at Mistys, I always seen her go in the back booths choke times!
