There is/was a J bar in Waikiki that Ai chan runs with her other half. If I remember correctly it is located on Lauula Street off of Lewers. I forgot the name but it opens after 8:00pm and had some cuties there. Just to let you know if you didn't already is that all Jbars charge for tables, normally 10 bucks. Sitting at the bar has no charge. Also got a couple off of King Street near American Savings, all off the main road and hidden.

Went bar hopping and checked out Business, D'amour, T-Time and Casino. What the hell happened to Casino? Just like they swapped businesses with D'Amour. Had 4 dudes at the bar, nobody in the booths and a total of 4 girls, 2 bartenders and a waiter. Julie came over and told me to sit, I said nah, too crowded, no more tables, and left. I know was Julie and Yuri that took over. Yuri left and took her girls with her to D'Amour. I even seen Bebe working at Evergreens now. What a trip. I guess Julie don't know. She should ask Bo. Bo knows!Like a sinking ship, many of the girls and bartenders have left new casino. The main problem is Julie. She doesn't respect and take care of her employees so many of them left. There are some girls still there but most of the good ones have left. I doubt new casino will get better until julie is gone, but that will only be a matter of time judging by the empty bar and lack of bar girls.

Btw, the tall bartender at casino with the nice rack is kind of iffy. Some days she is real nice, other days she is real bitchy and stuck up. She seems like the ROB type, drinks quickly or asks for lots of shots. I would say YMMV with her so, guess it also depends if she likes you.

In my experience, which is going to the bars for over 20 years. If you have to go to the bar to see her, and you buy her even one drink. You're a customer, plain and simple.

Thanks for the clarification. Sadly, it does sound like another Ai-chan (jugs like those are a rare sight here IMO, esp on a j-girl.
Altogether I worked Waiks for a number of years and got accustomed to it, but also outgrew it I guess...basically never go, but would have if she were the same Ai-chan.

Good luck hunting!Yes, Mermaid is on Lauula Street (around the corner from Moose's on Lewers). There is a pay parking lot right there (expensive though). There are a lot of cuties there, although my favorite is no longer there. Everyone is super cool there. Ai is the "mama-san" and she runs the place with Tim. The place is upstairs, and kind of hidden. It's relatively nice and clean. The best way I can describe it is that it is like a rich person's living room. Check it out.

You are correct. The old LH opposite Vegas II is called Club You and I. Kools Lounge is in a new location up on King St. near Sandy's Ohana and Club Jihae.

In fact we spent about 45 minutes in Moonflower and then went back to Camelot for an open table.

I also notice that the rooms aren't being used as much as before, even at camelot the rooms aren't all being used like before. I think part of the problem is the increased rates, it used to be $200 for champagne, now it's $300. There are $200 bottles of wine but because of the lower cuts to the girls most won't go unless you buy them $300 bottles. Stupid, better to get something than nothing.
Btw, I noticed some new girls working at casino, some not bad looking, others, older or chubbier. The place is still going downhill and not making as much as before.

I was there last night and the place was crowded. I got there after 8 and only the bar had a few open seats.
I found a few friends siting in the booth so I joined them. I'm not sure of the name of the girl bartending, but she is a total be I t see h. Not Bobbie, but the one wearing the hand brace. She never smiles & has a bad attitude. You guys know who I'm talking about.

There is a lounge area and back rooms for Karaoke. To sit at the table costs $20 per customer. Drinks for the hostesses are $20 for a regular drink. The mama (Ai) was super cool, she doesn't come around to push the drinks and the hostesses just sit down and have fun with you conversation wise. Make sure to take care of mama by buying her a drink and she'll love you. I would totally recommend trying out this place.

It's been awhile, but there used to be a Club Angel's down near the Halekulani. I used to work with the ms, so she or her husband would send a scantily clad girl to sit with me. Brian was an AH from back at Niagara/Evergreen, and Bobbie once got up in my face in what is now Hello Eve; I had a crappy night, it was late, I was very drunk, quietly minding my own business phasing-out at the bar, resting my chin on my fists. She got it in her head that I was staring at her boobs, and confronted me: "WATCHOO LOOKING AT? ! ? " Took me a moment to phase-in, then I was so mad I couldn't talk. Had she been a dude I would surely have snapped. Two customers next to me knew her and calmed her down, essentially backing me up; "He onny sitting there! ", "What boobs, you no moa! ", and seeing my anger they told her "Give that guy one beer! ". Ever since, even at Camelot, she is friendly but I won't forget that night, nor Brian's attitude. Just FYI for those who think they're totally cool and thinking of hanging out with them.

Bobbie isn't the greatest either, the other night a customer was getting off the bar so I asked him if he was leaving, he said yes so I sat down in his seat. Hana even gave me a drink but a about a half minute later bobbie came by and said that the seat was reserved for someone else so I had to move. Then she put a glass upside down in front but a customer didn't come by for 5 to 10 minutes.
This was the second time she pulled that crap on me so guess she must not like me. The first time I just got up and pushed my glass over the counter and left, brian ran out to apologize but guess bobbie didn't care. I'm a regular there, too bad those two got attitudes.

I have to agree with Hwnfrontier, the chinese girls are good at sucking the $$$ out of yor wallet. You may get some play from them in the rooms but if you're expecting fs then you may be wasting your time.

Bobbie really only gave me attitude that one time in my recollection, but due to the sheer degree of that occurrence (way too confrontational IMO), I prefer to spend my time elsewhere. Nor was I impressed (historically) with certain of the other bartenders. Of course, YMMV, as they have many friends who come see them.
Don't say anything bad about Bobbie. She is a total sweetheart! I have been patronizing Camelot quite a bit sitting on the bar and let me tell you she does take care of her customers. She never pushes you for drinks like these other leeches and she gives everbody house pupus and always brings her own as well. She is one of the very few who knows what customer service is all about and some of these other bartenders should take lessons from. Take it from me Bobbie is a rarity in the KB Biz!

The old 7 Kings has no parking. In Kalihi, parking was never a problem. Can't wait to go back.True that! Even the valet at Cheers Station now sometimes is full. Most times park down by Evergreen and walk up. Its all good walking back, sobers you up for the long drive home.

There is also Gion on Makaloa St in the parking lot next to Verizon.The bar in the front of Napa Valley you're referring to is called Club Bloom. Most of the girl bartenders are former floor workers. They are the ones that has some smarts. They know the biz and how to make money. It's not about the service. They don't give a shit about serving beers! I can't remember the last time I've seen a girl bartender shake me my chilled crown. She tells the bar back to do it. It's all about the money!
How many times I seen ***** the so called bartender walk right by a guy waiting for a beer. His bottle empty at the edge of the bar, no ice in his bucket and only a sip left. He ends up getting his own beer and ice! WTF! Mean da dope! Customer service??

M69, I agree with you. Bobbie's attitude is bad. She always pretends to not see me when I come in and will not take my drink order until I've been sitting at the bar for at least 10 minutes, even when the bar is fairly empty. She has never offered house pupus, unless one of the girls asks her to get me something. Because of the poor service, I never buy her drinks or tip her directly. I get better service from Brian or Hana.

Why are ROB girls ROBs?
Wouldn't you think being nice, getting a few drinks from customers that the customers want to buy would be better than ROBing for drinks? Why would they hit up a customer for choke drinks in one night and lose them as a steady customer? I go drinking every weekend and I would gladly buy a few drinks in a night, meaning 2-5 depending. That's roughly 10 drinks in a couple of weeks and 20 in a month. Also I would still be going to see her and when her birthday comes along better yet for her. I don't get their mentality of ROBing! Better for one night big hit? I know they all got their sugar daddy that spends mean scripts on them but to do that to all that comes? Brings me to this story.
Was at Cheers back when I used to go. My usual I sit with was not in and I saw and remembered *** from back in the days. She used to sit with my friend. We talked and I bought her one. Then she robbed me that night. My tab was $$$ in one and a half hours. Yes, I was drunk and stupid! Yes, I could have gone to a AMP! Ok, whatevers, I had fun but F that I cut that line. No one is deserving that. Especially after sitting only for the first time.
I went back when my usual was in. Sat down and waited for her. *** saw me and sat down like I was waiting for her. She said Hi, got up, didn't say nothing and got herself a drink. In the mean time my usual came and sat down. She (***) came back and tried to kick out my usual! I grabbed her hand and said don't leave, I here to see you not her. Then *** said what about my drink? I told her I never said I would buy you a drink. She left pissed. She tried this a couple of times more after that. One time she sat down, and the first thing she says was buy me a crown shot! I need a crown shot now! WTF! I thought I rubbed that "I'm stupid" sign off my forehead! Why don't they get it?
P.S. I hope they all read this. Maybe they will realize the business aspect of being a bar girls. You need your regular customers. ROB only the ones you know you can ROB! I'm not one of them! Not anymore!

How the fuck they gonna get drunk off of three glasses? Thats the only way they make money in the rooms. Drag a customer into the rooms to upsell for more bottles and be the sluts that they are. Its no way for me, its better to stay in the booths. Take her home later for the fun stuff.
Seems to me since I am try to kick the habit that its best to stick with the AMPS, more fuck for the buck.

Yes, she essentially looks the same. It Has been a couple years, though, and she did age a little, but it is covered by thick foundation. I havent really done the local bars here that much but it didnt take long to see other guys going through this and I have made friends with girls in other places that were escorts and I even dated a woman in Dallas that owned a massage parlor there. I notice that most girls were sitting with old dudes.
With such a bad economy its hard to tell with all the business at the bars. All the babes were all busy. I got no attention paid to me maybe because I was solo? This sucks big time.I go solo all the time. If the girl/girls don't know you, they won't come up to you, you need to either go up to the girl and ask her to sit with you or you ask the mama or waiter or hostess to get the girl for you. Many of these k girls won't go up to guys they don't know, even if you smile and say Hi to them. You need to make the first move to ask them to sit. At camelot, many of the girls, even j girls won't come up to you. Plus you have the language barrier, many girls don't speak english very well and so are self conscious because they can't hold a conversation with you. The only exception to this is at places like evergreen. Beware the Chinese girls as most are hustlers. They will come up guys they don't know and are agressive to suck the money out of your wallet. Some k girls at evergreen will come up to you because there is so much competition there.
But when it's busy, you are really out of luck, many of the girls have their customers, you may even encounter ROB situations where the girl may ask you for a drink, saying that they are done with the customer they were sitting with, but then if they don't think you are going to spend money on them they are up and back with the other customer and you wasted $20 or $40 for very little very fast.
Yes, if you are under 30 they may be less likely to sit with you because many guys under 30 don't have the cash to spend on the girls. You may need to spend some bucks to show that you are willing to spend money. Many younger guys go for the drinking and trying to hook up with the girl without spending money and the girls know it. The girls sit with the older dudes because they know that the older guys have more money to burn and are dumb enough, err, willing to spend money on the girls. If you have been reading the posts lately, many of them mention that the girls at the bars are in it for the money, which is pretty much correct, they are there to make money, not find a real husband or bf but actually someone to take care of them, a sugar daddy that will spend money on them and buy them many expensive things.
Another thing, if you keep visiting the bars, the girls all talk, they will tell other girls if you are a tightwad or someone worth sitting with. If you are someone who spends money on the girls, word will get around and they will come up to you for a handout. Likewise, if you are a tightwad and don't spend that much even when you sit with a girl, she will tell the others and the other girls won't even look your way after that.
Some notes for the kb (even vb's): I usually sit at the bar and watch the action for a little while. After a half hour of watching you can see the fast drinkers and hustlers, they are the ones coming to get their drinks every few minutes. Stay away from them as you will be spending bucks for their service. Beware the good looking ones as they are probably the ones who make a lot of money without trying very hard. You won't get much/any action from them unless you spend super big bucks because they know they are good looking and are usually busy so don't have to work for their money, you know what I mean. The not as good looking ones are good. They actualy are cute but not as outstanding as the other hotties so if you be nice to them you might get lucky. I would say that 80 to 90 percent of the local girls you won't get much action from. They don't want word to get around and you never know who you might be related to. They are fun to sit and talk story with so if you just want some company and shoot the breeze with they are good fun to sit with.
As for the bars, do not go when it's busy. Friday nights are really bad nights as it's the end of the week so guys are out for the weekend. The girls are all there to make money and most bars are crowded, you may only get a few minutes with a girl because it's so busy. Sunday nights are slow, but many of the girls take off as it's their day off. Either Sunday or Monday are the girls day off so the talent isn't as good so you may find more hustler girls or the plain ones looking for your bucks.
If you want quality time with a girl, go early, like 8 or 9 pm. That way you won't be interrupted as much. Later in the night, some girls when their regulars come in will leave you (unless you are a big spender) for their regular customers, they know to be nice to those guys because those guys regularly spend money on them. When it gets closer to 12 the bar might get too busy. For late late night visits I would stay away from the bars that stay open till 4 as most other bars close at 2, the guys then congregate at the late night bars so they may be too crowded, plus the crowd would be younger, many of the older guys go home by 2 or earlier.
