So haven't been out in a while due to laziness and lack of interest in the dying kb scene. I was sitting at home clearing out the dvr when the urge struck so I dropped the remote and headed to kalihi. First stop was cheers station. Damn near knocked myself out on the new glass door they had installed! Anywho, nothing to report there as there were no good looking women in sight. Decided to bag kalihi and head into town. Start with butterfly. Crap. Head to maya's. Meh. I would like to mention that me and a few friends walked past a couple of girls sitting outside and a few other employees inside on our way to a table. We sat for 10 minutes without any service so we left. Checked out s lounge. Dead. Secret was too hot, like the a / see was busted. We didn't want to go to Camelot because my friend was trying to avoid someone so walked back down to hanabi. Not bad looking girls there but I think we looked too scrubby or poor so none of them propositioned us. By this time we had run out of options so went to evergreen. Typical after hours crowd with the same old bitches. Had a few more drinks then called it a night. I successfully carried on the boycott but I wasn't really trying to.
Sorry but haven't been getting out too much lately due to work and vacation recovery. Only 1 maybe 2 nights per week at best. Got to save $ for the Christmas season so the SO has limited my budget. More on the holidays later.
Certain KBs seem to be plenty busy compared to the small amount of posts in this thread. I suppose if I had an ATF KBG that I was getting play from I would hold out as well in order to keep her to myself as much as possible.
I can confirm there is play to be had at Camelot but it will cost you. Got a nice BBBJ and some DATY a while ago from MJ. Coco is a local girl who will play if you get her drunk. Still though, the place is always busy at peak times and I always see girls in the rooms when I make it out. Splash seems to be going strong too. Sat with Erica a few times and got some take out in the form of a car date but she is gone now I think. As always, Big the's (Dallas) is loud and proud at Butterfly but not much happening there. All the good ones have moved on.
I ventured out on Halloween and got a bit drunk so only made one real stop. Camelot's costume party was nice and boy there were plenty of girls and plenty of skin. Did a fly by on the other main KBs and all I got to say is where are all these girls the rest of the time?
Be safe out there as holiday season equals plenty of LEOs looking for reasons to give you a DUI and since it is almost Christmas time the girls are going to be in full ROB mode. For those interested, there was a blonde caucasian hostess there last night; I did not recognize her. She had DTSW looks, thick thighs, maybe 5' 4", early 30's, not real pretty or anything but I know some guys like blondes.

Those guys no mind buying girls drinks even if they don't get play from them. They just like the company / attention of a barchick next to them. That's what these BG looking for, the type of guys that they can go to who are willing to buy them drinks. As long as they get these type of customers, they will not need to resort to offering play. Or, offer it for cheap anyways. For the girls (especially the hot ones) that do offer play and charge alot, these girls like the idea that they consider themselves expensive. It's like they compare themselves to an expensive diamond. If they offer play for cheap then they would be just that cheap. Plus, I'm sure they also charge alot to minimize having to play with alot of guys. You'll hear the girls saying: "it will cost you another soju or champagne bottle" It's hounding for more drinks is their way to make him stop or possibly stop. Hopefully, it will discourage the guy and he will stop. If the guy is willing to cough it up then to her it won't be so bad to bite the bullet and just give in already. As much as she may not want to make out with the guy, or have the guy suck her boobs, at least she can say to herself after wards: "Damn, I didn't want to do it with him but, oh wells, I made alot that night!"
Well this maybe should be in "the mind of." but I'll add a few KB findings as well. First off it took me a while to see the value of AMPs. Why spend $300 for a back room session in a KB? $200 will get you much better / private service at an AMP. So why go to a KB at all. Self answer, to see the eye candy, have a few beers, and warmup for the AMPs. Basically, make the night last longer. So just some observations. While checking out the eye candy, I've seen and talked with some pretty good bartenders. Low impact on the wallet, offer good food, give yah some fun conversation and then it's off for the nightcap (or pop as the case may be).
I like (in no particular order). Lia at Splash, the 2 at Hanabi's, the 3 at Casino (Anna, Su, Juliet) , the older lady at S Lounge (cause she always remembers my drink and always offers pupu's). Over in Kalihi it's the owner of Green Tea (really funny when she's drunk) and Aleesa at Pisces (hot body, great singer). There's more but I haven't got a good memory so I guess I got to go back and get their names.
Figure a drink or two on occasion (not everytime as I don't want 'them to expect it) and they all remember you and always offer pupu's (and yes I'll tip). Anyways it all works out. I've seen my eye candy, had a few laughs and still have some kala for the AMPs. Life is good.

Was able to find Choi's this weekend after directions given by member here. Guess it was too early since only bartender there. Heard the kitchen mama call out her name June (?). No makeup but nice giggly bust in pushup bra. A few older customers at bar which is relatively small but lucky for me there was one seat available.
She paid for first beer and asked if I want something to eat all the while bending over the bar and holding my hand. Declined offer for food. She guessed that I had just come from golf so conversation proceeded in that direction. Seemed like a nice person but don't they all project that? As I said only bartender there so can't report on anything else except I noticed their beers are 2 bucks all day and nite. Might try again later in day or evening.
Had a few beers and left to check out Olivia's. Almost the same as Choi's except there was one skinny BG standing by the door when I entered. Looked to be about 40+ but trying to act 20. Had on a very short skirt and those black lace stocking that showed how skinny her legs were. Had one beer and left. Again must have been too early in the day.
Hope I can provide better report next time. Will definitely try Choi's again but not too sure about Olivia's.

Try the circuit by Flamingo's off Kam. Choi's, JJ's Olivia's, etc. I have always enjoyed Choi's personally. If you don't, there's always the sure thing at PC Relaxation upstairs. There are a few others, but I haven't partaken in awhile at them. Choi's is too relaxing and friendly for me to avoid. Plus the parking is more discreet than most.

I used to buy drinks for girls back in the 80's and 90's in both strip clubs and KB's. I used to do shots with the girls and I would always drink their supposed alcohol shot and they would drink my true alcohol shot. Their shots were either fake or weak, after about 4 shots the girl would usually be wasted.
Another thing I used to do was I used to drink with the girl at the bar and make sure the bartender was pouring both shots from the same bottle. After about 3-4 shots we used to move to a back booth for some rest and relaxation.

Thinkin' this should be in the "mind" thread, but, since the discussion is here. I have sat at bars and watched the bartender filling bottles of Soju with whatever. Then re-capping. It is not unusual, in fact, it is probably more common than them serving real alcohol. Even back in the 80's I was the purchaser of a bottle of wine for a KB. Took the time to read the label which said "non-alcoholic grape drink".
Well moral of the story, on a straight buy, I think you are just buying time and not a "specialty" drink. The girl said "buy me drink" not buy me alcohol. Do you really think you can out drink these girls? I can't that's for sure and if I could, then I can't drive home. Seems to me it's just a time-buy nothing more. Now, if they're upselling that's a different story. Buy me Soju. I want to twist the cap or check the seal. (Only for her own safety of course). Shot? What kind of shots and let's switch. I was at pharaohs the other night. It was busy so I sat right next to the area where everyone goes to pick up their drinks. A couple of times I noticed the bartender pouring odouls into a beer bottle for the girl. I guess the customer wanted the girl to drink beer. ThanksYou cannot be soft and wish washy with these bargirls. They'll throw in extra on the tab or charge more than expected. Don't just settle to pay it knowing that you're bothered by the amount. The KBs always do this add-on BS; they should be punished, fined, something.I rarely run a tab, but when I do it's when I know the bartendress or it's one of the local guys bartending, and the girl has been straight with me up to that point. Always use 20's when buying drinks for better control, and never use 50's or 100's since getting change and especially upselling may become issues. Such as, since you gave her a 100, she might suggest just getting 5 drinks (which will likely be shot glasses of tea) one-time so she doesn't have to walk back and forth. Usually the girl who attempts this old bargirl trick will be a ROB, consume all 5 in a matter of moments, then ask for/demand seconds.
Sometimes, I respond to a girl's attempt by stating that it is "An old bargirl trick" in a neutral tone (no drama); I've found that some girls will then "shape-up" and not pull any other stunts.
By "straight with me", I mean that I monitor the girl's behavior and attitude on the very first drink; this tells me a lot about her and it largely determines if there will be a second drink or a next visit. I only repeated with girls who pulled no 'tricks'. I've witnessed that they are doing as they have been trained by the ms, but many girls later realize it isn't the way to make money in the larger scheme of things.

SsYup. Don't open a tab at a bar especially when you are new to that bar. Frankly, I wouldn't open a tab at a drinkie bar. If you open a tab, then they can just rack up the drinks and I bet most guys will just be distracted to keep track of it. Just bring cash and spend what you bring. This way, you know your limit. Don't carry a boatload of cash though. When I'm down to my last $20, I would tell her it will be her last drink. If you don't, she'll help herself to another. Also, don't give big bills. You got to prepare when you go to a hostess bar. The same as how you would prepare when going to an AMP. I wouldn't tip a provider 2 x 100 bills and ask for the 50 change. She'll think it's an extra tip for her to keep.

Stopped by after golf last week before Thanksgiving on a recon looking for "Moon" who used to work there some time ago. Used to see her off and on for outside action. Asked bartender but she didn't know where she was working. If anyone knows would appreciate info on location since I lost her number.
Anyway I sat at the bar next to the karaoke room where you can get a good look at everyone especially when the girls come to the pickup station for drinks. Must have been there about 15 minutes when girl makes move to walk over for "conversation". Had a hard time understanding her english but finally was able to make out her name as Kyong Ah. About mid thirtys with long shoulder lenght hair and nice soft cee's as I was able to find out later. She guesses that I had played golf and mentioned she loved the game and was taking lessons at Newtown. Conversations centered around golf and she began the old leg rub and titty rub as she moved closer to pour my beer. Offer to buy her a drink to which she immediately agreed since she said it was her first good luck drink for the day. Yea right it was after 8pm and she hasn't scored yet beside she appeared to have a light buzz on.
Anyway after the first drink, which she sort of inhaled, she suggested going to a table. Told her if she drank the next drink as fast as the first one it was a no go. She assured me she would slow down. By the time she was on her second drink, she was all over me with her tongue down my throat and her hand up my shorts rubbing jr. By this time I had my FIV to which she responded with soft noises in my ear. Ended up spending 80 total for the nite. It amazes me how many KBGs go to church on Sunday morning. They get totally blitzed on Saturday night and then stumble to church the next morning partially hungover. What's even funnier is that over the years I have had several ask me to go to church with them. I have always just laughed and thought,"Are you serious?" The KBs need to reinvent themselves in order to continue doing business. It's difficult, however, to reinvent cheating, BSing, stealing, tihs service, you guys know what I mean. On a recent visit to the bars this weekend, looked around and all I could see were the guys without a life. The KBs are all they have, no matter what "shift" they drank. I left knowing that I could leave without missing the SOS that JRoss is referencing.
In the KB since '68-'69. I admit that yeah, I don't have a "life"; but what right do you have to criticize others when you go or used to go bar hopping? Come on, cut us "losers" some slack.

The good days when I could walk in a bar on a Monday night and things will be happening, I miss it.

FYI, there's a lot of watering holes to go to after 2A. If you are drinking with your "partner" close to closing time, suggest another place to drink besides the "usual", and she might take you to the right spots. Couple places open till 6-7A. Once you familiarize yourself with these establishments you can go without your "partner" and hit up on other bgs their looking to relax, eat and drink. Best of all, it will cost you only regular drinks. Shvt works.

Went to Cleo's, the Makaloa strip and Maya's Friday. Except for Butterfly and New Casino, they were busy. I saw a couple girls I wanted to meet but they were just too busy.
Looked for Cindy at Hanabi but didn't see her. She was the main reason I came out. Something tells me she was just visiting. Place was packed anyway.

Didn't see it when I arrived because I was like a dog on a direct course to the nearest fire hydrant. I guess there really is a first time for everything.

Pretty slow week at the KBs, maybe due to the rain and Christmas season? However, Maya's was packed on Tuesday after the golf tournament. I went for a little while, but due to playing in said tournament, I was tired and there were way to many guys so I left early and went to Moonflower to check out the new place. For a grand opening it was very slow. She picked a bad night to have her debut (Maya's Golf Tournament). Saw the usual re-treads and a couple of new girls I did not recognize. There was one tall (5'8") girl with a nice thin waist but large rack and curvy body. She had long hair that was died a lighter reddish brown color. Couldn't really tell due to the weird lighting about the exact color of her hair. From what I could tell is that she was smokin' hot IMHO. Tall and curvy without being fat! Anyways, anyone happen to have any knowledge of her? I was going to sit with her but right as I was about to make my move, mama talked to her and took her to a table / customer. Oh well, I will go back and let you guys know what I find out.
The SO is off island for work this week so I got to get out and monger plenty. Headed to to Pharaoh on Wednesday but boy was it ever dead. Got a call from my buddy who was at D'amour so went next door to knock down a few beers with him before going home. Saw Yujin who was drunk and going off on some customer. She was pretty drunk so decided not to try and partake that night with her. Just finished a few beers with my buddy then we left. FYI on Yujin if you get her a little drunk she will play. Take her to the room or as secluded a booth if you can. Trick is you have to get her a little drunk and not crazy drunk because then she just goes nuts. I would say most certainly not Chonga / JungAh or whatever her name is. You can't forget those boobs! You are spot on about her being pushy for drinks too. There are so many to choose from. From where I'm sitting, it's a crap shoot. I reported on Cindy at Hanabi who was as much fun as girls USED to be, but apparently she was just visiting. I've found that visitors are more fun and frequently hotter than regulars, but they're here today and gone tomorrow and that's what sucks. I just accept that girls come and go and count myself lucky when I do meet that rare quality hostess.
Personally, I just stick with the Makaloa strip. I like to check D' Amour. Hanabi and New Casino occasionally have eye candy, and Butterfly is wishful thinking but I look anyway. I don't frequent what is now Cleopatra because I've met some headcases there, and it's not like they had the looks to compensate. Maya's has some pretty girls but they take off a lot; getting their digits helps but sometimes they get heavy into texting and yada yada...back to Makaloa I go.
At one time Cheers Station/1st Time had babes, but reports say it's all old ladies now. I haven't been to Kalihi because the last I saw there was way too much LE (motor and foot). Just my 2 cents.

Na na ony jk, maybe last 15 ha ha, from wen go from 10 to 20 anyway. I heard the regulas hea like fo flame newbies like me which is why dey said post on hea. Dea like laff and see me get flamed. Good ting I got thick skin but mostly no kea, LOL. Ok. Report. Went mayas recently fri or sat foget. Sat on bar as usual to check tings out. Plain or looks-6 bartenda and slightly chubby local bback was directly in front of me but got ignored because dey was talking to k cust who prob bought dem drinks. These 2 always give people dey dnt kno lousy svc and only cater to cust that buy dem drinks. You can forget hse pupu or chips or even a smile. I tink his name brian but not camelot brian and he little taller. After about 5min other bartenda on other side of bar by mensroom saw me and got my beer. She's taller one about 5-7? Kinda thick looks-7. 5 always dress casul, gives ok sve. I seen many cust walk out because no svc from the 2 fools on my visits to mayas. Then Mina, Min? Min-ah? Seen me and give me hug. 5-9? Hot-8-9always mini skirt. She is a rob but nice bubbly personality rob, LOL. But not a rob to me because she mistakenly thinks I'm rich and suga daddy material and we talk in japanese and have interesting convos and usually just 1 drk because her goal is always to get my ph# and not drks LOL. Then suddenly she gives me a kiss on the lips which catches me off gaurd and surprizes me because not gn kiss. I ask how come and she just says because she happy to see me. By chance I turn slightly and see Sue (formerly Butt) is staring at me while waiting fo her dnks. Put 2n2 togetta. Previous visit Mina and Sue seen me enter same time but sue dragged me away first. These 2 always give people dey dnt kno lousy svc and only cater to cust that buy dem drinks. You can forget hse pupu or chips or even a smile. I tink his name brian but not camelot brian and he little taller. After about 5min other bartenda on other side of bar by mensroom saw me and got my beer. She's taller one about 5-7? Kinda thick looks-7. 5 always dress casul, gives ok sve. I seen many cust walk out because no svc from the 2 fools on my visits to mayas. Then Mina, Min? Min-ah? Seen me and give me hug. 5-9? Hot-8-9always mini skirt. She is a rob but nice bubbly personality rob, LOL. But not a rob to me because she mistakenly thinks I'm rich and suga daddy material and we talk in japanese and have interesting convos and usually just 1 drk because her goal is always to get my ph# and not drks LOL. Then suddenly she gives me a kiss on the lips which catches me off gaurd and surprizes me because not gn kiss. I ask how come and she just says because she happy to see me. By chance I turn slightly and see Sue (formerly Butt) is staring at me while waiting fo her dnks. Put 2n2 togetta. Previous visit Mina and Sue seen me enter same time but sue dragged me away first. I only get normal massages from sue and she knows I kno her game and wnt rip me and she does give good reg massage and usually just1 dnk. Anyone got any info? She used to be at Evergreen many (more than 6) months ago as Mona, then moved to New Casino as Tiffany because Evergreen was too slow. Then New Casino was too slow, so she went to Butterfly, still as Tiffany. When it got slow she would bounce between there and Evergreen, but nowadays generally will go to Evergreen after finishing at Butterfly.
When I first met her she was a snobby ROB, but as business drooped for her, she got friendlier.
She's actually looking better than she did in the beginning. In my case no play whatsoever and drank a little fast. Could be YMMV but I doubt it. Generally her outfits are not E-Z Access which to me is one of the hallmarks of a playgirl, such as Lily at Evergreen.
The last time I saw her she was still at New Casino, and was probably so desperate for business she sat by me for free for a bit.
Otherwise nice girl, give her a whirl if you want. Good luck.

Then I realized, if I was coming for service then I'm in the wrong place, but if I was there for nani and eyecandy so I just wouldn't let the service (or lack there of) get in my way. If you don't like the bar then don't patronize it, but you'll come back, I always do, as stupid, lonely, horney as I am, I always come back. Never got a free room at Vegas. But I know, I don't gamble enough, so why should I expect my room comped.

Was feeling bored the other day, so decided to hit kalihi before town, hollywood, dead, grean tea, dead, well what to expect at 2:30pm. Finally drove by kools, and saw a familiar lexus. HHHMMM could it be? Well, sat at the bar, no choi in site, finished my 2nd drink, and was about to leave when I see huge melons coming towards me. It was choi, she remembered me from the old kools, to waipahu, and now back at kools. Looks like she lost some weight, made her tits that much bigger. Bought her a drink, then she made the "blow job" motion. How could I resist.
Here is where it gets weird. We usually go to the "karaoke" room, instead she told me to leave the drinks, pulled me by the hand and she was giving me a tour, here is the bathroom, the kitchen, then she told me to stay by the door? Ok? Mind you there were people cooking. Then she led me out the door in the back, through another door, where I see beer. Storage room? Christmas this year was super slow! Way worse than last year. Just wondering what the rest of you thought or was I just in the wrong spot (s). I should have started out at Maya's because when I got there the bartenders said it was busy early but then everyone dug out. Went to Green Tea ISO the MILF Wn5912 saw, but there are a few of them and they were all busy and I didn't feel like asking the bartender. Her drink was almost full and over a half hour later the same drink was still half full, so I said never mind and left. Easy to spot as she's the youngest one there by a good margin.
Isis was dead with old ladies but there was one kinda hot 30-something (not Yujin), but she was dressed businesslike rather than sexy and she was eating and seemed to not want to be bothered.

Then tried Something (formerly C'est La Vie) , hoping maybe it was another Chinese bar, but it's a kbar and there was only one 40+ hostess and her customer, the sole customer.
Said screw it and went to Makaloa. Same old same old, but Maya's was packed and Moonflower had one AMP-grade girl. Tall, slim and leggy with really white skin. Hanabi also had a couple girls who looks-wise would fit in at say, Ichiban or Nirvana. Too bad mentally none of them would be up for that kind of work though.
