Yes, been burned before. I did make a deposit twice on a very well known and reviewed providers locally -- for outcall to cover her Uber. And both of them did show up and it came off the total bill. But I got lucky I think, because as Boytar says -- their circumstances are dynamic. I may have missed some good ones, but I'll just have to live with that.
