For testing, there are free clinics like Ahf Wellness or county clinics. Both are free or very cheap (i.e. charity or county funded).

It is the opinion of several STD clinic doctors that PrEP for HIV is not necessary for most of us, unless you regularly participate in unprotected anal sex or intravenous drug use. Whereas Doxy-PEP for bacteria greatly mitigates your risk, but doesn't eliminate all risk..I'll note that these options give peace of mind.
