I follow this forum pretty closely. I have not seen any "crazy stories" on the Philly streetwalker thread. The craziest things I can recall is Miranda and some dude with a gun robbing and pistol whipping a guy in the south jersey street walking section and a girl pulling out a gun in the philly sugar section. I feel like there are crazy stories out there, but some people don't want to share.

I have never heard of any monger getting killed by a streetwalker in philly.

I think a monger is more likely to die just by the usual craziness of philly. The one time I came close to death was just driving on the road. Two cars were street racing and decided to run a red light. I had a green light but luckily I saw them speeding through so I slammed on the breaks to avoid a collision. Most SW I come across do not carry any weapon. Their strategy would just be to be cautious and avoid or run or just be a victim or play dead.

Some carry knives. This is probably the thing you need to watch out the most. But there is a time delay of pulling out a knife that give you time to prepare for a defense.
