Where do you take POTs for a meet and greet?

I take them to 1 of 3 local restaurants / bars depending on who I am meeting. Sushi, Irish bar, Italian casual. All under $100 ish. You can tell fairly quickly who is a good match, if not quick app, 1 drink and call it a night.

1) Never, ever pay upfront. This includes prior to meeting them, as well as for a simple platonic M&G. Don't know why guys think that's a great idea in any way. For anyone claiming it worked for them, feel free to refute & share who you've charmed in such a way. But the chances are incredibly minuscule that this approach pans out. Most women on Seeking are out to do the bare minimum whilst maximizing the benjamins they can draw out of johns. So if anyone engages in the aforementioned nonsense then acts surprised when their girl cash-and-dashes or makes up an excuse as to why the arrangement won't work, then with all disrespect, said person deserves to be parted with their money.

2) You can't seriously be asking for guidance when you've supposedly got the game down already. The way it works here is a user shares, then others share in kind (be it in the forum at large, or in private messages). If a SB that I engage with isn't worth the headache (be it her ghosting, running a scam, or asking some ridiculous PPM / allowance), I share with everyone. That's how these forums have always operated.

Bottom line: share your experiences of the ones you're finished with & don't plan on seeing again. If you plan to see any of them in the future, by all means keep those close to the chest. No one here would fault you for that. I myself used to have a few college-aged regulars who were a fantastic time that I never shared (two in particular who's only ask was a bite to eat, a hotel room, and junior to play with). But if you're just going to offer a not-so-humble brag about your conquests without anything of substance for us to work with, then how can you expect others to share with you? I will sometimes voluntarily send something up front, for a couple of reasons:

1) I'm trying to get some real world info to verify she's for real. While my Venmo and CashApp are set up to not reveal my real name, other people aren't so shrewd. I view it as an insurance policy and one I am willing to pay.

2) We had plans (tentative or solid) and I broke them close to our planned meet. I don't think it is fair to her and I want to keep the lines of communication open for the future. Also, karma.

Appreciate the honestly, and that's why I asked the question, just wondering aside from all the "reasons" they want upfront; if it has ever worked out for someone. Read my previous posts, sensing a little animosity, which will just make me post little; genuinely trying to get more out of the board. The more that share, the more will share. And just met with 2 more since last post and 3 more in the next 5 lined up.

Coffee shops are fine for a first meet, do not cost much, and typically you pay for the coffee when you order so no waiting around to pay the waiter if you need to leave. There are stories on here of SB's getting expensive meals out of SD's with no intention of going to the FC and SD's being catfished and stuck in a restaurant for an hour or longer with a fugly chick.

A middleaged single female coworker and I were discussing online dating recently and she told me that some of her single friends just go on the vanilla sites to get expensive meals out of guys with no intention of actually dating. This happens everywhere so always meet somewhere inexpensive and easy to leave.
