I've had Black sugar babies that I saw regularly for months at a time. We did all the things, dates, trips, and, of course, all the sex. But I've also been to M&Gs with Black girls where it was obvious within 10 minutes that we had literally nothing in common and that if we got together, it'd be weird and awkward to a degree that just wouldn't be fun (for me, at least). You know what's worse than obsession with pop culture? (And that is indeed bad). Obsession with fancy objects they can't afford. Ok time for me to be judgmental and prick-ish.

I find the dinners with these girls interesting. In an anthropological way. They really do live in a separate universe. My life is surrounded by people like me. My friend group and my professional group are all highly educated, professional class, and they speak a sort of American dialect that signals your participation in this class. For example everyone knows "where did you go to school" means college and it's a proxy for other things. Or it's totally normal to talk about macroeconomic policy and have an opinion on it.

And then I find myself sitting in front of some seeking girl. She does nails or hair but really wants to run her own salon. Or she is a nanny but does TikTok videos and really wants to be an influencer. Or she's bored as an office manager and dreams of being a stay at home wife.

I think the $ days may be over at least in vegas (I have no clue about L. A.). I have been back on seeking for about a month now and no takers. I did get some interest at $.5 and at $$ I am home free. It's sad but that's just where things have gone to. I have chosen not to partake at those prices as I am looking for someone I can see at least once a week. And at a working stiffs income it's not really in my budget to spend 1 k a month quite yet.
