I think what makes a good GFE depends on personal preference. For me, it's her giving up a level of intimacy. This could be honest conversation, eye contact, kissing, not jumping out of bed. Some of you younger guy will not remember this; but, back in the good old days when gas was 35 cents a gallon, all gas stations were “Full Service.” Whenever you pull into any gas station you got full service.
