I am a newbie in the SD game. Can anybody give me some basic pointers on what I should include in my first message and also does my profile really matter? I would rather get straight to the point and not do endless messaging with some time waster which from casual reading seems to be a common thing. How do I know the girl is serious? Do I just simply straight up ask her what her PPM is in the first message?

You should *always* assume that someone is reading all of your messages on any such sites.

All I can say is that SA kicked me off for no coherent reason with no way to even find out why or do anything about it. SB hasn't done that.

If there was any other less slimy way to get all that sweet pussy, I'd drop 'them in a heartbeat. And yeah, ninety percent of the profiles on any of those sites are fake (somewhere there is a cottage industry that is producing those fake profiles, and some of the fake profiles are quite good with pictures appropriate to their location).

Scammers are:

1. If there is one or two pictures and no text.

2. If they say it says their income is $300,000-$1,000,000.

3. If their text says about one generic sentence.

I would add that if an offer is accepted and messaging started, within the first introductory messages, there is a push to leave the site to WhatsApp, etc. They're trying to avoid getting caught. I push them to stick around, try to get them to describe their favorite things about (your cities). The responses keep coming back, "I'd love to talk about that. On WhatsApp" (or texting, etc.). I screencap the conversation, save it, then just report them, demand a refund, then send a screenshot in the follow up emails from the site. I get refunds 9 times out of 10. I have had some fantastic sex with some people on WYP, so I keep that account active. I've also spent entirely too much time talking to scammers, saving screenshots, evidence etc. to get my 20-30 credits back. But I did get over 300 credits refunded, which led to more ...scammers and sometimes the occasional date.

Why would someone in Aberdeen just randomly ask a guy for a date in Seattle. Who just happened to be looking at profiles in Aberdeen previous day? So, yes, I think the site is making the fake accounts.

Just something to think about is that the dating site technologies are heavy on data gathering. You showed up as searching Aberdeen for people, the site then suggests you to people in Aberdeen, even though their search may not include Seattle. On the flip side, though, SecretBenefits has been outed for using employees to create targeted profiles, as well as employees reading personal communications between people. This whole habit, er, hobby sucks in so many, many ways.

I took a couple of months off after a particularly enigmatic episode with a Portlander. I busted up all my accounts, destroyed my persona, and all traces. It felt good. I highly recommend this as a kind of cleansing. I regret canceling my SA subscription, which still had two months on it, but some of you kindly offered discount codes yesterday, and I'm back online with a whole new persona. It's refreshing, and I get to see all those nefarious players who tried to block me before. Not that I give a shit. But at least I can proactively block them now.

Anyway, who cares, right? But I did come here to mention one thing. Amongst the realm of online subscriptions and accounts, one in particular really shines as the pile of garbage it truly is. If you really enjoy punishing yourself trying to set up dates with scammers, I highly recommend WhatsYourPrice.

Yes. What's your price is full of scammers. For the life of me I don't know if it's the site owners making fake ads or what, but I've pretty much got them down now.

Why would someone in Aberdeen just randomly ask a guy for a date in Seattle. Who just happened to be looking at profiles in Aberdeen previous day? So, yes, I think the site is making the fake accounts.
