Yeah maybe he wasn't being mean. But here's my issue and no you can't tell this by my screen name. My other account Is locked because it's linked to an email I no longer have. I'm a senior member. So, thanks for sharing this. I'm hoping to share some of my experience in interpreting it.

1) That probably wasn't a sting. Using a house rather than a hotel, while it does sometimes happen, is preeety rare. I would say that chances are good, or even excellent, that the LEOs were there for a reason that wasn't specifically you. Provider may have neighbors that saw you lurking and called (especially if she has a lot of traffic), or it might have been completely unrelated to the both of you. The fact that they showed themselves before you actually exchanged $ tells me that it probably wasn't a setup. They certainly couldn't have expected you to do anything but take off after they showed up.

2) That doesn't mean that calling it off was the wrong decision. Even though it probably wasn't for you, there is zero upside to assuming that is the case. Bailing was the right move.

3) We're still not sure who you're talking about. It looks like you just copied and pasted the Lady Shay link from the post below your second post without actually pasting the whole link. In any case, the link is broken. Was it her that you tried to see, or someone else?

4) Waiting is always a risk to both your time and well-being, (sometimes a small one, sometimes larger) but it seems like you know that.

5) Depending on the provider, it is extremely possible that she had no idea the LEOs were outside. Some of these providers stay high or always have their faces in their phones (often both), and could easily miss something like that haha. (To be clear, this is not about the aforementioned Lady Shay specifically. I have never seen her and have no info on her).
