Hometown Studios in Kent is good. I stayed there a couple of Christmases ago when I got kicked out of my own damn house for Christmas. They don't tolerate any BS there. Also, if you want to get into some shady drunken shit at dive bars, a couple of the best in the area are within walking distance (it's a safe walk, just be aware of your surroundings).
