Ya the Saudis just announced they are cutting oil production way back.

OPEC is cutting production by 2 million barrels a day. Not the Saudi's. They are just one coubtry in OPEC. But it is easy to blame them.

Any experience with this one? Just got a fairly snarky reply to a very nice message, so I'm sure I'll get blocked based on my response, but curious. Seems like GPS to me. She let me know she only meets guys who make $. 4 M. Politely explained to her that that may be one possible explanation for why she's still got her open for business sign in the window. Anyway, curious if anyone else has had better luck.

This one is a real piece of work. I'd avoid at all costs, she's unstable.

December extension was to get the Dems through the midterms. From a structural economy perspective, I don't think the administration can afford to extend the deferrals. Labor costs are a huge part of why inflation remains stubbornly high. They need younger folks back in the workforce, and the younger kids these days are happy to sit at home in their moms basement.

Ending the deferments forces recent college grads to get off their ass and get to work. Many ladies will still refuse, and likely end up in the bowl instead.

For some, the choice between driving for doordash or spreading their legs will be an easy one. When crude rockets this winter, it will be interesting to see how sustainable it is going to be for the girls doordashinng / ubering / Lyfting to make ends meet.

Time will tell though.

I've thrown the gauntlet down with all except the newest of my SBs to go lower, couple of them right off bat said will accept half way, but I am holding until they come all the way down. Worst case they end up back in bowl and get hit with a sh*tstorm, then perhaps come back to me. Some of them may get hurt with their pride and inflated sense of being valued, not understanding the deal is still good. I am okay if they all drop off, but happy to keep seeing them at the reduced rates. If the bowl gets busy and rates drop then I will get replacements eventually. Let's see how this goes.

The student loan "pause" will be renewed past December. No way they are going to let it come back while we are in a recession at that point. That said recession, inflation, rising rents, really the higher cost of everything along with COVID being "over" and SBs still wanting disposable income will likely bring many back. It seems to already be happening.
