I tend to tip well, knowing that they're doing a tough and thankless job. If they do a good job, and their attitude is great, that's represented in the tip.

What about when service is bad? I don't mean like Ryan Leaf, running up a $150 bar tab, and leaving a $3 tip, just to be a jerk. I went to have some food, and there was one dish that I ordered, and when the table next to me ordered it later, I heard that it was sold out. No problem, I understand. My waitress didn't tell me it was sold out. Yet, she put it on my tab! I also ordered something else at the end, and she gave me a different version than I asked for. It just showed inattentiveness, I think. I was by myself, not in a big party.

I usually tip them well. I know that the cooks, who are super cool, get part of the tips, as do the host and hostess, which is why I didn't want to punish them. For a $30 tab, I was so close to leaving no tip, or a $2 tip. I left $5, but I've left $10 for comparable bill amounts, at the same restaurant.

Also, when I go there next time, I do know the night manager well. How can I politely tell him that I don't wish to be served by that particular waitress?

If service is bad, with multiple mistakes, what is a fair amount to tip?
Hmmm. Well, if you have a relationship with the night manager it could be worth having a non-confrontational word about it. Something like "Say, I was here the other night and I was a bit astonished as usually the service I get here is great" Then provide the story. Be humble and offer an out such as "I guess it was probably really busy" or something like that. The manager should know enough to handle the situation gracefully.

Assuming we are actually talking about restaurants though this can apply to other businesses. Having worked in a few restaurants in the past, The Back of House (BoH) getting tipped out really depends on the business, same with hostesses getting tips. It really depends on the business. Some places tip them out some don't. Next, depending on the business waitress / servers generally have sections they are assigned to for the shift. The host / hostess job is to try to evenly seat customers by rotation to evenly spread them out give servers an equal opportunity to serve customers / and getting tips.

With that said just ask at the hostess at the beginning who's working / available. Calling ahead doesn't hurt to see who's there that day or more so if they are busy or dead. As for the tip I'd agree with the sentiment of 10% if it's terrible or even going rate and just make sure to get a different person next time. You don't want them thinking you are a shit customer or spreading bad rumors about you in the future if it's a place you visit somewhat often. Also, they could have an even worse attitude for the next customer.

Tipping when dining service is bad

I always ask if there are any size restrictions before anything even starts, but I guess because I'm also a grower they don't realize it.

Now there are girls like ittybittygirl that love it, but I just can't get past her face, I seen her only once and had to hit it from behind to finish.

Today was the worst and suffering from major blue balls, got the tease and as soon as he got to attention she just went oh no sorry no can finish. Like she just wanted to see if I was bluffing.

    Anyways end rant.

    Attention and fantasy

Even if people here rarely if ever have used a legit dating site to look for a wife or long term relationship, you have experience with relationships. This woman said she's 40, as says her profile. She told me, on her own accord, that she met a Korean boyfriend who is now 35, back when she was 27 and he was 22, when they were taking some classes at a college together in California. She said she wants to marry him, but he never popped the question. I just don't get it sometimes, how this courtship world works. I'm not talking about the sex industry, where some providers are married in real life. I'm talking about, why an openly attached woman pays money to be on legit dating sites. It isn't cheap. Memberships cost something like 40-50 dollars a month to be on. I don't think it costs less for women, than men, although I heard that because these sites need more women, they are offered more discount packages.

The other courtship matter that gets me, is that I wish that both sexes can be more straight with each other. If a guy is interested in a girl, as soon as he shows any interest in her, he puts himself in position to be ghosted. If a girl shows interest in me, and I like her back, if I show her that I'm also interested, I, and most guys in the same position, gets ghosted. It's like, as guys, we just have to put on this act, as if we couldn't care less about her, and that of all things will keep her interest alive.

I can't be the only guy who has been reached out to by girls on legit dating sites, only to have her drop the I have a boyfriend bomb after a few back and forth messages. I'm not going to be this Thai girl's husband, fine. But, why does she keep asking me questions, like my life goals, and the type of girl I want to marry? I am only holding out hope, that she wants to set me up with one of her girlfriends, but even that's a scary proposition. Guys who want legit dating and courtship, it seems to be so discouraging and demoralizing.
If everything this person has told you is true, she needs an outlet to have a fantasy relationship in her head that her current situation will not allow her to have. She also needs you to pay attention to her, which she is also probably not getting currently. If her relationship is actually bad, it's apparently not bad enough, as people won't end relationships until the pain of ending is less than the pain of staying together.

But we, on this board, are here to discuss extreme short term relationships, for a fee negotiated up front, for activities that may or may not be present in a long term relationship, so take our opinions with a grain of salt. But hopefully you will gain something useful from us.

You didn't ask, but I'm going to help you out a little bit here.

There is no "courtship" when it comes to SBs, hookers, call girls, etc. She doesn't love you, she probably doesn't even like you very much. She's willing to fuck for money and you're paying. Period.

A couple years ago, it seemed to me all the Asia region girls would eventually fall into 'I can't believe how well I've done with forex trading. Have you tried it? Wow they were patient.

If you want to play along to see what's up, go for it. Don't 'pay her way' from New York to see you. Just stick to "yes, but I couldn't make any promises to anyone I haven't spent time with 'in person' ". If an asian girl actually showed up on your doorstep. I think you would be part of a vanishingly small club. .

    Short story longer.

Forex lets you leverage money through a middle broker to try to profit on exchange rate fluctuation. For whatever reason that industry also tends to allow multiplicative 'bets' 2 x to 100 x. Probably because currency exchange differences tend to be 'stable'. And then they started trading crypto.

Anyways. The 'scam' is that unlike regular stock trade companies, forex trade providers have a server that controls exchanging the assets they hold to a middle broker (see metatrader). MT is legit. Many of the brokers are legit. These scam ones. Not so much. They will try to get you to slap a 50 x multiplier on your. 2 bitcoin 'safe easy money trade'.

Some of that terminology may be off. My interest waned once I finally figured out 'how it worked'.

I thought it was a massive scam she was pulling. Before she revealed having a boyfriend, as I have with other girls profiles, I asked the admin to take a look, and see if they think the profile is legit. It's not foolproof, but they said her profile didn't give any indications of anything wrong. Obviously, she didn't put I Have A Boyfriend but am just looking for friends in her bio. Believe me, I've had a few girls Smile at me, and then the admin removes her profile, because they detected a scammer. Anyway, my policy is to never get into any kind of bar room brawl, over a girl. The only reason why I didn't just block her yet, is thinking she has a girlfriend in America that she wants to set me up with. Fat chance of that happening. For what it's worth, she has not asked me for any money or material goods. At least as of yet. Courtship is a brutal world.

That's the unfortunate point that I think is being proven correctly here: I came THAT close to blocking her profile, right on the spot, when she said she had a boyfriend. But, when I stopped responding to her, she kept sending me more messages. I didn't even open them, and you can tell whether your specific messages have or have not been read by the recipient.

    Mariners

The Giants are my team, but I've long liked the Mariners. Back when we were winning World Series, I thought that the Mariners were similar to us, in that if they could have just gotten into the playoffs, their pitching could have taken them very far.

You're going to see Mariners playoff baseball, two months from now. Not just a play-in game. I'm talking some home playoff games.

If the Mariners can get to the Yankees, I think they can make the ALCS. I think the Astros are the only team that the Mariners can't beat in the AL.
