About 11-12 years ago I met this welfare mom with a few kids. She would bring the kids over and they were surprisingly well behaved. I'd feed them and be nice. One asked if I was going to marry their mom and be their dad. Wow, that broke my heart. The mom was hooked on pills and would show up a lot while the kids were in school. I'd just take her to the bedroom and let her nap. If I rolled her on her belly and she never objected. Whatever I wanted to do. Usually I let her take a nice hot bath to get the stink off.

But those kids became too much. I'd come home and find out they were walking in the snow and looking in my windows.
