Great example of what I've been saying. The bang for the buck is at Hunter's Den and BodyworkByUs. The continued contention about the consolation round is puzzling to me. Luxe and Serenity are fine. But they represent the junior varsity. Now I know that isn't the answer some posters want to hear, but it's at least my honest opinion. And it's a straight answer. And you've validated that assertion. Not everyone here will hold the same opinion I do, which is not only expected, but it's beneficial to all of us to have varying viewpoints expressed. But a straight answer assumes the question is straight. An honest answer with details about the services rendered, the pricing, and the quality of the providers checks all the boxes. Of course, as I noted in a prior post, if a rift exists, then a truly objective viewpoint will be impossible. As a poster who has tasted the entrees at all four (actually all six I referenced) establishments, I have provided my straight answers. That doesn't mean I'm right. Just means I'm willing to post my answer and the evidence to back up my conclusions. I stand by my ratings. And I have no issue visiting the fourth place establishment from time to time. Variety is the spice of life. And sometimes it reminds me how good the top two really are. Stevede and Rossm. I appreciate your recognition of the answers I've provided.

I started going to serenity for convenience, drove by twice a day. I liked every session, I was clear about what I wanted and showed providers how I want my massage. Providers that care will pay attention to detail. I'm a serious critic of massage techniques. A bunch of circles on my back don't cut it.

If you drive by and look at the parking near Serenity lot nextdoor, you'll see plenty of anonymous parking.

Yes I do like Ashley Winter because her massage and prostate massage are perfect for me. She knows exactly what I like.

Other providers could do the same if they focused the client instead of just the tip.
Something left out of the comparison, I can walk in at Serenity, no verification process and no appointment needed.
I prefer to stay off the database at the other places

Sasha, Vicky, Jenny, Skye, Layla and Jaida have all had positive reviews and plenty of loyal clients here. Biggest advantage is more open menu and less turnover on the roster.

So. Who wins? Well it depends on what your priorities are. If pricing is the key, then Serenity wins. If variety of providers and open menu is the key, then Luxe is. Based upon all the factors presented on the various reviews here, Luxe wins.

But keep in mind, this is a battle for third and fourth place (maybe even fifth place as Panacea is making a good run, and Christi is bringing ToP into the conversation). So this whole discussion is somewhat moot. Because BodyworkByUs is similar model as Serenity but far superior. And Hunters Den is similar model to Luxe but far superior.

So in the battle for the consolation bracket, this should help comparison shopping. But if you're more interested in the big leagues than the minors, then move on up to Hunters Den or BodyworkByUs for the Allstar treatment at a better cost than the bronze medal winner. When you can get better service at a lower cost. Why would you need to debate this?

That being said, we all know that we have certain favorites that provide either fetishes or something special for just you. Or other dynamics may include that a monger has a rift with the owner of the place (s) and would never go there. Or a monger had a bad experience with one provider and is reticent to return to the place, even to see another provider there. So in cases like that, third and fourth place might be good options. But it doesn't change the fact that first and second place have already been claimed by other parlors.

Once again. Just my opinion.

I was traveling on East 28th Street and stopped at Healthy Habits on impulse. This massage parlor is located in a small shopping center. It doesn't get much attention on this forum so I entered having no idea what to expect. Mamasan greeted me and took $40 for a 30 minute massage. The massage room was comfortable and well equipped. I was lying face down when the masseuse entered. She was a bit chubby for my tastes and I might have bailed had I seen her before agreeing to a session. I'm glad that I stayed. It turns out that she gave a good massage and provided services well beyond the standard GR massage.

I tend to prefer more slender women but the experience at Healthy Habits was quite good. I don't know what other "talent" is working at Health Habits, as this was my first and only visit.

If you like more full figured women, you can have a good time here.
