I completely understand where you're coming from. I'm not a big fan of hotels and it would make me paranoid. I'm sure there are tons of mongers who wouldn't feel the same way as I, but for me the risk is too great. I have asked this with a provider once, and she told me that most staff know and don't care as long as you are quiet.
