I completely understand where you're coming from. I'm not a big fan of hotels and it would make me paranoid. I'm sure there are tons of mongers who wouldn't feel the same way as I, but for me the risk is too great. I'd take it a step further and say I wouldn't just be concerned about housekeeping; but also the people checking guests in and out. If you don't mind, who did you see? To me, I wouldn't be concerned about 1 and not the other (if that makes sense). Goodluck and be safe!

Never bother me. I prefer them over private residences for 1st time meets. Statistically safer (if they're staying at a decent hotel).

The important thing to do is walk in like you belong there. I always like when the girl tells you exactly how to find the elevator. That way you don't look lost and won't draw attention.

Act like you're staying there. When I walk in, I don't try to avoid the front desk staff if they're there. I'll smile, say hello and keep it moving. They see a lot faces throughout the day and yours is just one of many that they will soon forget.

As far as the maids, I'm sure they suspect some things, particularly if they see multiple gentlemen coming and going from a room but I look at like this, most people don't want to get involved in situations that don't concern them, especially these maids, who are most likely illegals and don't want draw attention to themselves.

I have asked this with a provider once, and she told me that most staff know and don't care as long as you are quiet. Ironically, that conversation was during a day appointment and there were housekeeping in front of her door, which brought up the conversation. That is a good sign that you are talking to either hotel security or a LEO.

I have made a couple of hotel visits for the first time after a very very long time pausing the hobby. I was not used to hotel visits even before I stopped my hobby. The visits I have made recently were good. The thing that I noticed is I made the appointments in the morning time where the house keeping is active and I noticed them staring at me while I get in and get out.
