I heard it was happening at the beginning of the year. Bought a new phone however with the ol reliable working just rode it out. Couple days ago I was in need so sent texts to my reliable go to gals. Not one replied, the phone showed them going thru would deduct minutes and everything. Wrong they went nowhere. Guess I will be activating the new one shortly. . damn inflation the new one is 20 a month vs 20 for 3 months for the old one.

Long time user of Tracphone and prefer the physical separation of hobby phone from my personal / work phone. Plus the anonymity of burner fits my priorities. I migrated from flip to smart phone about 6 years ago / 2 phones ago and interesting thing is I continued to use the $20 white Tracphone 60 minute / 90 day card on the smart phone and it continues to work (did yesterday). I have triple minutes from my original Tracphone account setup so it adds 180 minutes / 180 text / 180 mb data each time to the smart phone. I use a lot of text and data so usually have to add a separate $10 blue Tracphone 1 GB data card (no days) once or twice a year. I recently tried the new blue 3 GB card with 30 days card and is an option but complicates things with a second redundant plan when you check balance. The remaining 3 GB rolls over every 30 days until exhausted so it didn't expire within it's card 30 day card window. My $. 02.
