I stopped into Bogart's based on this post. I saw Gia and we negotiated $1.5 for all. It wasn't worth it. Looks she was 8/10, but performance only 6/10. The first part is covered. The rest of the fun, she kept her hand in the way so it doesn't get too far in, and finally moved hand away at the end. Told me I must pull out (even with cover) before the finish.

In general, I don't understand the concept of Bogart's. BT's down the street is much nicer, serves food, most girls are much hotter and younger. And the girls in Bogarts charge the same amount as BT's. I walked out of Bogarts smelling like an ashtray. What's the point of going to Bogart's if you can go to a nicer club with hotter girls that charge the same price anyway? I don't understand it. I haven't been to Bogarts in a few years, but after going back yesterday now I remember why. Oddly enough, Bogarts charges $5 cover on day shift, but to be fair, BT's has a $10 Valet. I don't think $10 is going to make or break me in this hobby.

Did you go to the same BT's I visited? The last time I visited it was full of rip off artists, who start off with $400 FS, then agree to $200 no song count, then try to charge you $400.

To me the best way to get the best value, and that doesn't necessarily mean lowest price, is to be a nice guy to the dancers, to be gentleman. I have long been told that I don't look and act like most strip club guys by the dancers; and that is whether I was in a suit, jeans, or shorts. One's appearance and attitude matters. If I'm sitting between two guys dressed like they just mowed their lawn and changed their car's oil, the dancer will generally gravitate toward me. In summation, be nice and don't be a dick, tip the staff well, be friendly with the staff and managers, and owners, and you'll most likely get a better deal.

I couldn't agree more. Just the other day a dancer told me back in the VIP: "you smell great, that's definitely a plus" and we had a great time.

Your own hygiene is probably the biggest factor in YMMV.

Compared to BT you can save 50 bucks at H8 / BR for CFS but the girls quality will be 1/4 of BT.

Yep at most bars $200 to $250 is the sweet spot for CFS. Bogarts and Henry's you can still get $150 to $175 for CFS, and $80 to $100 for BJ if the dancer remembers you. My problem is I am only in town every few months and few remember me.

Bogarts tends to be a tad higher in pricing than H8 N, partly because they usually have a few dancers who are several notches higher in looks and body; one example is Chloe, an older dancer (30's, maybe 40's, but still solid). Also, there seem to be a handful of girls there that do limited extras, or none. There are girls at H8 N that are dances only, Bubbles for one, and another who I was with a couple months ago or so, whose name escapes me. I only go with them if they are super cool and I just grab two dances to check out their hot bodies.

H8 N definitely has the seediest, DTF vibe of any club in Detroit, and was the first bar that I got FS in about 20 years ago. Now H8 S was even seedier than North, but that place may never open again. Most that I have ever paid at North is 160, for everything. Once a girl became a regular, 100-120 for FS is often my norm, and that's based upon being a regular, and gladly buying them some drinks each time I'm there. I had one, an older hot mess, but real sweetheart who met in 2019 named Candy who worked both Bogarts and H8 and. First time after a 45 minute session with a couple pops, I asked how much I owed her, she replied "whatever you want". We met every week until March 2020 when first pandemic shutdown arrived. Sadly, she passed from CA in February of this year.

So, there is really no standard pricing; it's dependent on too many variables; the girl, her attitude, your attitude, how much in demand they are, how hot they are, etc. What I have learned from reading in this forum, and others over the years, and more importantly, observation in the clubs is that there is no shortage of dickheads in the manner of how they approach and treat the girls. And the pricing they get often reflects their attitudes. The guys who cry out that others are paying too much and raising prices and ruining it for everyone else are generally the biggest douche canoes; as if there is some pre-set floor and ceiling to stripper services. The next biggest dipshit brigade is those who pay a lot more than the median, and brag about it. At the end of the day, almost each encounter is a new negotiation, a new auction so to speak. All in All I think with Christmas this week the girls are feeling the pressure for more money for the holiday, at least this is what I think. Are women really averaging 200 at bars, even HVIII and Bogarts?

Well there you go. No matter how good of a negotiator you are, you don't pay more than $200 because you don't go back with the 10%.

My range is a bit higher topping off at $300 for 10's, and $250 for hot dancers, but percentage wise it's about the same. Like the original poster around 10 to 15% depending on the club refuse $200, and around 5 to 7 refuse $300. I found that those who want more really aren't worth it. Of the few times I agreed, I am 0 for 4 from the 10%.

Exactly. I just ignore the 10% that requires more than 200. I usually offer 140-160 as a starting bid, but go up to 200 maximum if I find her attractive. I don't go with GPS girls.

Looooongtime strip club devotee, I began in 1981.

Tipouts, house fees, stage fees, almost all the same thing. Some clubs had house fee, then separate tip-out to DJ, door, VIP attendant, etc so that club didn't pay those workers, the dancers did.

In the 80's the dancers were paid an hourly rate plus tips. The hotter the girl, the higher the wage. When Tycoons opened (late 80's) the girls didn't even have to do table or inceeasingly, lap dances to make money. It was several years before Tycoons made a VIP room that was one big room with upholstered benches ringing the walls, there was no VIP fee, and the dances were lap dances with hands at your side.

I could probably write a history book of the evolution of strip clubs in Detroit from the 80's to present.

There is a long road from girls dancing on tables, to tableside, to lapdance at tables, to lapdances in designated VIP room, to sex in communal VIPs, to private booths of today. Of course there is the regression in Detroit proper from booths to open VIP areas.

I never pay these numbers at BT's. Day or night shift, I always offer anywhere from $100 (minimum) to $200 (maximum). I would say my success rate at 100 is about 30%. And at 200 its at least 75%. Most girls will take 200. But usually I offer between 140-160 and it usually works. Of course, there's always a girl or two that has "golden pussy syndrome", but I just ignore those and move on to the next. If you're paying more than $200 max at BT's, you're driving up the market costs. Most will take less if you're a good negotiator. Especially if you don't plan to be back there for a dozen songs. I'm usually fairly quick and let them know that we might only be 4-5 songs.

More dancers as LS, also more customers. Definitely better vibe. A little Latina mix girl going by Emerald sat down with me. She was fun, and we went to VIP. The service was fantastic, BBBJ, covered FS, finished with BBBJCIM (spit). This is where she ruined it though. I went for my wallet, and she told me "You already paid me. Right at the start". Now, I had only had a couple of beers, so I was not so drink that I'd have paid her and forgot (This may or may not have happened before, LOL). Also, I came in with around $500 in my wallet, and wasn't planning on spending all of that on one session. I can only conclude that while removing my jeans, she grabbed all the cash in my wallet. Knowing how any sort of confrontation in this situation ends, I chose to just pay my tab and leave. It's really an unfortunate end to the night, I would have tipped her well anyway, the service was incredible, but it was ruined by one sketchy act. Based on that she has lost me as a repeat customer. Overall, I would say that the service was amazing, and would actually recommend taking her for a ride. Just keep your hand on your wallet.

Remembering the days when Leggs Lounge still had a "downstairs" and the day shift between Thanksgiving and Christmas was flush with "mercenaries" there for Christmas money. There were weekdays with something like 20 or more dancers on the day shift. Driving down prices and pissing off the regular dancers.
