Yes, always pay cash for the burner phone and for the minutes. And don't buy them where you might normally shop or where you buy anything else.

If you can, remove (or disconnect) the battery so it will only work with an external power connector (get one of those Goal Zero battery packs). If / when your wife finds it (and no wife, no matter how snoopy, will rifle through your dirty toolbox in the back of your truck) tell her you found it alongside the road when you had to fix a flat last year and tossed it in the toolbox. If it can't turn on there isn't much she can do about the phone.
And it goes without saying use a separate passcode (and not a fingerprint or facial recognition) to unlock the phone. And make sure it isn't a passcode that she can possibly guess.

Posts: 49Burner phone is probably best, but text app is much more practical. I use a Google Voice number linked to a burner Google account. You can access it solely from a web browser via guest / incognito mode, or you can put the GV app on your phone and link the account. If you link it to your phone and you have a significant other, turn off notifications on lock screen so that incoming messages can't be seen without unlocking the phone. Use a difficult security pattern or pin code. Fingerprint unlock is not optimal because your finger can be "borrowed" while you're sleeping.

You're always better off with a burner phone.

Your best bet is to never turn on the burner at home or work and only turn it on and use it someplace public and crowded. Also frequently replace your burner phone (every six months is a good reference point).
These days with so much phone spam and scammery there are lots of legit reasons to have a burner.

Posts: 11So true. You can't criticize these younger people anymore, and these young people are now in their thirties. They cried when criticized as even teenagers.

Why not use your Ignore function?
I used that with Ashun, because we couldn't get along, and we got into a couple of nasty fights with each other. I kind of liken this to, Foghorn Leghorn keeps banging the pots and pans and waking up the dog, because he knows he'll get the dog to chase him. Another is KJR host Dave (Softy) Mahler, who many Tweet stuff at home, because they know that he'll eat it up, react, get worked up, and even start cursing on Twitter. A caniption fit.
By reading and replying, like Ashun used to do to me, you're giving him free rent in your minds.

I never did understand why people didn't just use the Ignore function. If someone's posts make your blood boil, why read and respond to them? Ashun is who really pissed me off, because he was simping and White knighting whenever someone said something bad about an Asian girl. I realized that by getting mad, reading and responding to Ashun, I was basically giving him free rent in my brain. He isn't worth it. So everybody, the Ignore function is great, and works rather well.

Rex- Give it a break. This tread is about bareback services and providers. Not side effects of diseases and offspring. Your opinion on that doesn't matter and you can't attack other viewers. I've reported your posts in the past and will continue to do so. I suggest you turn to the other board and join the white knights and trolls there.
