My point is, IF I had any children out there, the Baby Momma could at least get 500 easy dollars a month out of me.

What I don't get is how completely selfish this fetish, because it is a fetish at this point, is. As someone who was raised by an addict, why the hell would you want a child raised by an addict? Add the situations providers live in and all you're looking for is an abused child. Why do you want to sentence a child to that life? Do you want to be a hero? It doesn't sound like it. It sounds like you just want to know you have a child and are completely willing to set them up poorly in life.

I sent her some money in good faith and said I'd talk to my lawyer and get back to her. I did talk to my lawyer and had my lawyer (or actually a paralegal at their office) reach out to her. She freaked out and left the state and I haven't heard from her since. So I don't know if she was really pregnant, or if she was pregnant if I was the father. From convos I've had with other mongers over the years that situation is par for the course.

So I'd say if you get into this situation get yourself a damned good lawyer who can advise you on your rights. Yes, the system is biased against you but you can easily make it much worse. Most of these girls are "sure thing" people who want something for nothing. If they think getting the money is going to involve going to court (and it will, we are talking about a child here) most of them won't be interested no matter how much money is on the table.
