So there has been, from time to time discussion on this thread about being anonymous and avoiding tracking. Apparently even using a VPN isn't the end all as there is a "fingerprinting" technique that uses OS version, screen size and other pertinent data that normally gets sent to websites, data that can be used to ID your computer even if it isn't through the IP address.

So now I see a service offered by the CCleaner folds call Kamo that apparently spoofs that data each time and thus makes you untrackable through "fingerprinting" techniques. So thought I'd toss this out there and ask if anyone has any experience with this? Does it work?

I'd love to hear from some of the more computer savvy here -- I know nothing is foolproof, especially when it comes to computers, and that true anonymity is nearly impossible while still having a computer be actually "usable" in real life.

But, what do you all think about, for general privacy, the following:

1. Using strong passwords.

2. Using a good, zero-knowlege password manager.

3. Encrypted hard drive (bitlocker or filevault).

4. Good, zero-knowlege, paid VPN based in a privacy minded country (ProtonVPN, perhaps, and the like).

5. Good ad and javascript blocker.

6. Setting browser to delete history and cookies on every exit.

7. Browser fingerprint spoofing like Kamo (are there other trusted products in this space?

Anything else you'd do?

She was good to go for a long time. Anything goes. But a couple recent reports said she was trying to scam guys. So try at your own risk. She's definitely crazy so be careful.

Do not send ANY pics on the site -- do not post a picture of you or anything like you. -- no not send pics via messages (if they let you) - and P.S. NOTHING IS EVER DELETED!

Then the SA moderators have nothing to hang their hat on and kick you off.

Basically imagine the site is hacked by the dark web -- and then the dark web has your pictures and MAY have even an E-mail or worse a real phone number and address (all that nice info you gave them).

Now you get blackmail threats showing your pictures and your SA profile -- just do not do it.

For EVERY potential SB - - this is what you message them.

" I will not put any pictures up on the seeking site as there is a good chance it will be hacked -- I am happy to txt you my picture if you let me have your txt number. Or I am happy to give you mine".

(it goes without saying that at least your number is a google voice number).

I am exactly the same. Use to have Tony Soprano from the nose to the waist as my profile pic. After over three years, my account got deactivated for using a fake pic by SA. I got in a nasty back & forth with a scammer & I think she ratted me out.

So now I have a guy from a clothes web site, from the mouth to the knees.

I actually think not having a full pic makes some curious & more likely to go to text to see a pic. If they ask on SA why I don't have a pic, I tell them I have a high government security clearance for my job & they do random searches for my pics to maintain it. I then joke, "no Princess, I'm not a spy, I do some high level work for the Navy on nuclear subs & aircraft carriers. They buy it every time.

Unlike pics on the internet that are forever, pics directly to a Baby are only between you two. Of course I only use my play number.

I also have a second account under a different email but I have never activated it by paying anything. I use it to see when I have been blocked by a profile. I suspect this provision only applies to two active paid accounts.

BTW, one other way to have this not devastate your activity is to have another profile. I do. Different email and login. However, reviewing the reasons for accounts getting suspended, I found this:

I used a fake photo and sent a real one via messaging. She got mad about some toher stuff and reported me. Not sure if I deleted the pic or not, probably not, but it seems the accusation is all that SA needs.

They said to fix the issue, I had to submit a copy of govt I'd showing the photo on the I'd matched the one in my profile NOT.

So I created a new profile, but all my messages and traction are gone. Have to explain to ones I re-engage why I got bounced. They are understanding of discretion and if not, they arent for me.

I've recently posted about sending my real pic to POTs through messaging on SA, as you can delete it off there. Seems safer. My profile pics don't include the face, and are thing I pulled off the web. Anyway, I just got my account suspended for this reason: 'pictures not of the person'. IDK how they can really tell that, but that is what they did. I have less than a week to go on this, I'll try to fight it, but just a cautionary tale. If you do sent a real pic, I'd be sure to do it in messaging w / the girl, and then delete it immediately.

Well, I don't know that I got anyone mad, but I am preparing for a trip, and the recommendation for road baby is to give them a real photo with the initial contact, don't wait for messaging. So I did some of that. When I deleted the real pic out of SA messaging, I had a little explanation concerning hacking etc.

I guess one of them who didn't reply could have reported me. I also just changed my profile, literally by the addition of one word, but of course those changes get the site police to look at the profile, which you really really really want to avoid.

I think a seasoned profile is very valuable just because it isn't as subject to the whims of the folks running SA. I will try to resurrect.

Nothing really surprising here. Marriott has long admitted to assisting the government with "trafficking" etc. Most hookers I've met in these two chains, especially the higher tier hotels will tell me that they make themselves scarce. As in, no going down and having a drink at the bar alone, no eating alone in the restaurant, etc.

This has been part of Hotel SOP for years.

They are more concerned with trafficking not solo practitioners.

I'm in the hotel business as a supplier and several of the GMs say they don't mind the solo pros -- they just use a lot of towels, but they always pay in cash.
