Just rambling. Increasingly I see people complaining about the crap selection of providers in St Louis.

It's not your imagination.

People lament the disappearance of RTP and Craigslist. But even if they were still up and running I'm certain they would also be suffering a lackluster lineup. I blame a few factors. First and foremost, * / Patreon / Twitter.

/ Instagram / Reddit. Two are subscription sites and the other three are used to generate traffic for paid sites. Everybody and their cousin is trying to tap into the "gold rush" of this medium. Compared to camming and especially escorting this venture is way easier. A little work up front and it keeps earning money. A good chunk of providers now have at least an * on the side, and younger better looking women have all but abandoned escorting or dancing at clubs.

Next is pricing. I clearly remember in 2000 paying 150 for a decent provider, 200 - 250 for an higher end provider. Now it's around 200/300. That's not a big increase for a 21 year spread. Definitely doesn't keep up with cost of living. Yet guys are still on here bellyaching about how a girl they visited for 100/30 min didn't seem that into it. Then complain if somebody charging bargain rates seems to be "high volume". No shit Sherlock. Face facts: Under 250/ hr is likely going to get you borderline hood rat or a gal past her prime. Honestly, I don't like it either but there it is. No one is going try a tough it out in this profession if they have the "goods" to get better money elsewhere.

And finally, the wannabe pimps. Oh fucking good lord do I hate them fucking up the independent provider scene. Ask any provider you meet why they want pictures, why they say "no" to specific groups of potential customers. Yeah, it really is that bad.

In the end, I just want probably what most other guys want; decent service from an at least somewhat attractive woman for a fair price. But it seems to be really hard to achieve these days.
