Except that "trafficking" can be thrown at anyone for any number of reasons. Pay for a motel room for the girl for the night and she sees a couple more people on your dime before checkout? You have just "trafficked" her. You and your GF are down on your luck and decide it's the only way to pay the bills? You just "trafficked" your girlfriend. Makes for good headlines, and keeps the police and polticians who pass these laws looking good to the GP. On and on. Ridiculous.

Anyways I'm looking forward to the day we stop the bs and just regulate a lot of vice crimes. While I get that trafficking is an issue, I don't see why jack shacks aren't legal and regulated.

Because that would mean that the religious zealots and misogynists would have to give women more autonomy over their bodies and more financial independence.

During these stings, who is routinely tagged with the harsher, career ending charges? We all know the answer.

I don't purchase vids/pics but I personally know of a few women who've finally been able to achieve a few things for themselves by being able to sell their material. We all know the demand and the customers are out there, and they'll pay handsomely, it's about time we drop the stigma on these things. For men and women, but particularly the women.

No one should be shamed for providing a service between consenting adults that people are seeking out. Absolute waste of time and state resources to arrest two people because someone's junk ended up in someone's hand at the end of a massage. Completely ridiculous.

I have to say that now I'm wondering where to find more of these sorts of documents. FWIW it's nice to get some insight. I find it very dissapointing how many times with vice crimes they big "no-no" is that a bribe takes place. While I get why bribes should be illegal, the whole legal system is largely built on the ability to pay your way out via a lawyer. Is it really that unreasonable to think that some people would directly pay a cop to turn a blind eye? Again I'm not saying I condone bribery but why can a politician get lobbied to do something but not a cop?

For me the biggest revelation was how they get workers. I think most of us assumed the women were brought in from Asia or FOB but that seems likely to not be the case. I'm now wishing I lived alone and could put up an ad in a Korean language newspaper for a live in helper who would cook, clean and massage me.

There is a fascinating read in the Wimington thread, a link to Scribd document.

Interesting how much of the investigation really got data from people that told on themselves, AMPs included. Just like TV, crimes get solved by people telling on themselves. No real investigative efforts.

No mention of trafficking or child exploitation!

Explanation of how the industry works-girls aren't forced, they answer ads like the rest of us.

If the folks so mentioned were indeed the owners, my source was potentially FOS.

He / She said that this was about previous arrests and folks that skipped bail and / or hearings.

When these kinds of things become public, I wonder if LEO overall shoots themselves in the foot. They give out the methods to be avoided. I bet the customers could continue to be scared into talking.

It is nice to know there was no people trafficking against ones will.

Thanks for the link to the court documents. I just read it today and it put me in a bad mood. The court document is a good read for all the AMP Patrons on how these investigations are conducted. The lead Homeland Security Investigation Special Agent on the case is assigned to Cary, NC. Could this be a reason the local AMP scene has struggled lately?

The court documents will make you angry for several reason. First, lives ruined and ladies arrested because of a HJ. Second, govt resources wasted over a HJ. Third, a customer admitted to helping the owners for a free monthly massage and he just ratted them out to save himself. Fourth, 5 Cary customers were pulled over in April after leaving New Happy Spa and 3 admitted to receiving a HJ. Fifth, an employee named Luna at New Happy Spa in Cary gave an undercover agent $800 as a bribery payment. And last, 14 Wilmington customers were pulled over in May after they left the spas. 13 of them were given Grand Jury Subpoenas and 7 testified they received a HJ. (Never admit to anything and all they had to say was they received a massage) Wow, this read was just unbelievable.

Had an FBI agent and a local cop trying every tactic they could saying I was the only ne out of 20 they pulled over who wouldn't admit to getting a "handjob" After 15 minutes of threats to publicize my picture in the local newspaper they finally relented and let me go saying to never return to "their city" and the reason they were staking out the place was because of human trafficking. The real human traffickers are much less obvious to find and require real effort to do so but yeah, just going for a massage nowadays can make you an accomplice to it in their mindset.

To each his own, I believe that the whole point of the forum is to provide experiences and info that is useful to all and not just withhold info or sources that at the end helps LEO get what they want, to stop us here from communicating and enjoy what the ladies got to offer. Is what I would call "holding out" on times and just bleeding the forum from the info we have. How about some pro-quo? Be safe out there and thank you to those that "share".

Members share publicly and by PM. Not as many AMP hobbyists post like before and not as many stores to talk about like before. Anyway, every store locally is a HJ finish except one in Durham. Nobody is holding back info unless they invested time and money to get certain services that isn't available to the masses. Some members have a close relationship with these AMP ladies and they don't want to ruin that relationship. LE doesn't care about this forum. LE already knows what is happening whether its posted or not. LE only acts when pressured by community complaints or by government officials.

This seems to go in cycles, we've all posted or read how it use to be 40+ stores in Raleigh / Cary then the big shut down. Then it started to ease back to life then a few got popped and some got scared and shut down for awhile then reopened. Then it seemed we were getting back into a groove with some rotation of girls. So here we are again. Cary just seems to be a hot spot for these stores. IMO the early shut downs were related to the Massage Board's involvement, I kinda think these businesses are now on Raleigh and Cary's LE radar. Charlotte possibly Fayetteville doesn't seem to be as bad. Same as last time just have to wait and see how it plays out. When it cools down there are always people looking to sit up shop. Time will tell.

This does happen in cycles. It use to be several years between LE visits but IMO the frequency is now every 1 -2 years. Some of these stores will remain closed because the owners are unable to run the business or sell the business. After the last closure several stores changed from Chinese to Korean ownership. Word travels and who is going to take the risk now in this area? I was hopeful after the COVID reopening in May 2020 that a few new stores would open but now I'm doubtful and the AMP scene will remain slow in Wake County.

Was in Cary last week and was stopped by a Fed and a cop on unmarked Tahoe right after I got out of new happy spa, they asked about if o got some hand job, it was uncomfortable as hell cause it was a female but I told them no and what made me upset is that she bluntly said not to come back there. I was like" wow I guess feds now tell you where not to go" but hey to each his or her own I just needed a good massage and from an Asian chick everyone has their preferences and their choices. Be aware.
