The recognized incompetence began when thousands of plastic shims needed to be replaced for the tracks at over $100 K. The shims when start to crack due to exposure to the elements (salt, water, sun) and delays in construction. Kahikina may be more forthcoming about the project (with her at the helm), but I shudder to think of what's next when more truths surface (you can tell she shuddering, too, by her demeanor on news conferences).

Look how many lolos when head this project; they send all the rejects here from where they were deemed to be incompetent from other similar projects. They ass-backwards geniuses with impressive resumes and shat for brains. That's how.

Incompetent engineers should pay for mistakes

Or the stupid City Council forgot to update their insurance coverage for such a blunder? Unless of course they getting some "bla-toe" under the table?

This kinda sounds like the Sua family. All 7 of them stay in prison. The most infamous one was John. Killed one guard when he was 15! The incident he was most remembered for was when he stabbed the guy in the neck with one kitchen knife. Leaving the other guy paralyzed.

The democratic system is still alive and well. We all have the right and the ability to change things. DON'T RE-ELECT the crooks. Don't let the crooks bring in their buddies to take their places. If you are as unhappy as I am with the way this state is run, vote!! Vote at every opportunity and never vote for an incumbent!! Even if we get haphazard government, it will be better than the "good old boy" cronyism that is in place now. It starts at the bottom. Neighborhood board elections are underway now. Vote only for people who haven't had any experience. Same thing applies at the next general election. If we send Masie Hirono back to Washington, we deserve the idiocy that she represents.

Fix this crap. VOTE!! If you can't vote FOR someone, vote AGAINST the ones who have been so corrupt.

HPD should "dip" into their drug evidence room and offer a "special" no questions asked stash of drugs so that his own family turns him in just to get another "hit". Bet all those cockroaches will be coming out of every corner to partake.

Too bad its not like in the Wild West, when wanted criminals have their posters displayed with $$$ Dead or Alive and now questions asked by law enforcement when they get to clean out the files on these criminals.

Look at what happened when Tulsi Gabbard stood up against her own party (Democrats), all of them turned on her.

She one nodda lawyer; using and abusing taxpayer monies is not one crime (it's a privilege).

Never mind Maruo; he one small rodent. They looking for one lawyer to take their (weak) wrongful death case; somebody going eventually take the case when the time is right (to settle out-of-court, IMO).

Yeah, corruption even extends to nonprofits like Olelo; get recent CARES embezzlement problems, possibly lawyer-related. One law degree is a good "license to steal," if you will.
