That's one option.

I've been using the Burner app for about 4 years, simply called "Burner". It's not free, but a few bucks a month, allows incoming and outgoing voice and text communication, and you can pick the area code and prefix.

Incoming calls show up as the burner number on your device's caller I'd. It's dirt simple to turn notifications and ring-thru on and off, so no surprises when you don't want them. Need to ditch it? One tap "burns" the number and you can get a new one. I've tested this extensively, calling my work landline and cell phones, and it's absolutely solid.

I have no commercial connection to the app at all, just a satisfied user.

You are using a non-traceable contact method, like a burner or burner app, so she'd have nothing to look up, right?

I'd stay away from snapchat, just my 2 cents. If the future (no matter where you find the girl) don't send cash via apps as I've already stated. This is for many reasons.
