When I lived in jeff park I was on the blue line more into downtown to pick up my mail and then back up to the jp station. Hey, do you guys remember the shooting mentioned in the above news report? Well, I checked the website of the DuPage County Jail, and it appears that the suspect has been incarcerated there for the past 2 years without a trial. Apparently, he has been unable to make bail.

And, since jury trials are on hold indefinitely due to COVID-19, he probably will not be going to trial for quite a while.

Guy drove up there with a gun seemingly to strongarm them or kill someone. He's now living with his terrible decision.

This is why I feel like the standard screening practices of a lot of agencies are crazy. They never delete your info, and your information will basically be public record if they ever get busted or breached. Even services like P411 are sketchy. I get that providers and agencies want to know who they are dealing with in order to feel safe, but it's a huge risk for hobbyists.
