Posts: 13634I agree. This Covid thing is still much a mystery and any death is needless. Haven't had any losses so far but the CDC has been spinning its wheels, getting new data and such, yet it'll be years before they know the true depth and breadth of this virus.

Sadly, people want to blame Trump when in fact they need to be looking into the mirror to face the real culprit.

This part is simply not true and there is publicly available date from reputable sources which proves, beyond question, that it's not true.

I don't know that masks do any good but beyond keeping people afraid they don't do any harm, I've been wearing one in Asia for years because of the air pollution. Covid is not dropping any extra bodies and the total number of dead from all causes proves that beyond question. It's a really bad flu that tears through elderly and infirm populations at a horrific rate and even with that it has an overall recovery rate of 99.74%, it is time to stop treating it like ebola. I'm sorry for your loss, like I said every death is a tragedy to those who loved them but that doesn't change the facts and the facts are that 96% of all covid deaths involved multiple co morbidity. That is a fact. 99.74% of all covid cases have a full and complete recovery, that is a fact. The ONLY European country not experiencing a second wave of cases is the only one that DIDN'T lock down, that is a fact.
400,000,000 people will be forced into extreme poverty due to the economic devastation as a result of the constant fear mongering, that's the entire population, every single fucking person in the USA plus Argentina plus Sweden and how many of them are going to die as a result of malnutrition, crime, lack of clean water, dysentery, no access to medical care? They aren't facts yet but they will be and that is a direct result of covid hysteria because "exponential growth" is scary even though it never happened beyond those risk groups anywhere. Remember when they were talking about Brazil and everybody dying there? Yes, cases, hospitalizations and deaths all in decline. It was a ***** of a bug and the US has one more cold and flu season with it and then it will be over and about half as many people who die from heart disease will have died from it. Then, and this is the fun part, then the world gets to deal with 25 years of lost progress in the third world. Two decades lost. Can you even get your mind around that number of people nearly half a billion people impoverished. I live in those places, I'm watching it happen. After the vaccine comes and you feel safe to go out to dinner without wearing a mask? They will still be digging through garbage for food so you could feel safe.
Only a fool says it's a hoax, but it takes a bigger fool to kill 10 or 20 million through secondary effects to delay, not prevent mind you but delay the deaths of a few hundred thousand.
Seriously stop talking about how far too many healthy people are dying from this because there is no data to support that at all when you use the worlds population as the context for what "far too many" means because you are killing people every time you advance that argument.
As to your last part
Are you being deliberatly obtuse or do you simply refuse to acknowledge these deaths, or even worse do you just not care because they are by an large brown people? I honestly want to know because every one of these people have family just as your loved one did. Every one of these nine million will be mourned, and all of them are dying because you refuse to accept the fact that corona is not ebola. This isn't Faux News saying this, this isn't a difference of opinion, this is nine million people laying in the streets dying slow painful deaths that could have been avoided if people like you had been willing to accept that Trump won because Hillary sucked. Because at the end of the day it always comes back to politics for team lockdown.I found that death to be "needless" and I will not stop.

Posts: 307Which part wasn't true? That a vaccine will be developed? That we can slow down the infection rate by making some short-term sacrifices? That wearing a mask is a societal benefit? I don't have the virus, but I come into contact with people I don't know all the time. Do they have it? I don't know that either, so I will do everything within my power to protect myself. I have already lost one family member to COVID with NO other contributing factors.

While I am disgusted by their duplicity regarding covid and the leadership seriously makes me want to puke, fucking Pelosi, and the far left has become as big a lunatics as q'anon I honestly believe in my heart that the right would allow capitalism to be completely unfettered which would hasten the US's fall into a total oligarchy. I think the left, to some degree (less and less every day honestly) could still stand as a deterrence to the complete corporatism of the US. It's difficult for me because I'm a capitalist at heart.

Believe me when I tell you I think about it a lot given the choice I'd rather see social democracy break out in the US. I've spent a lot of time in Europe and I know there is a lot of propaganda on the right about Europe but if you spend a few years there you would see that they have it going on.

Yes people keep saying that "far too many young people are dying from Covid. " It's repeated so often that people just accept it as proven science. The death count for covid in the US is 200,000, the TOTAL number of people under the age of 35 who died WITH covid as of this week is 1876, that is WITH mind you, not OF. So taking the 6% figure (96% of all covid deaths have two or more co morbidities) so that means that 112 people under the age of 35 have died of covid alone since February. Every death is a tragedy, that's a given, everybody who dies is mourned by somebody agreed. I also know that "far too many" is subjective. In my opinion, 1 person a week in a country that has an average of 52,000 total deaths doesn't quite make it to "far too many" considering the economic devastation team lockdown insisted on is going to cause 173,000 extra deaths of starvation worldwide per week, every week, in 2021 and lots of them are going to be kids.

What has happened, and no matter how much new data there is it just keeps keeps being ignored by team lockdown is that covid enters a population and absolutely devastates the small percentage that are susceptible, then team lockdown panics and extrapolates those early numbers across the entire population and says the sky is falling. It doesn't and if you stop listening to CNN and look for yourself you will see it isn't.
Yes I know, Saint Fouchi, Saint Fouchi. Answer this one, when Fouchi talks about the US doing the worst in the world why isn't he calling out China for lying? He's a world renowned epidemiologist after all, why isn't he saying.
"One billion more people than the US, exposed to the virus longer than any nation in the world, crematoriums running at full capacity since January, history of deception, 4000 total deaths? That simply cannot be true. ".
Masks don't cost an economy shit, "social distancing" for a virus that has a 99,74% survival rate, constant fear porn (far too many young people) while ignoring a steadily diminishing death rate world wide (again, look for yourself) is killing the third world in this global economy.
What you're saying isn't true, please stop.

And Joe Biden is equal to the challenges of the job when it is obvious that he is not even equal to the challenges of his Teleprompter? Beyond laughable. These "generals" are just pissed off because they know they can't manipulate Trump into another war or two as they have vested financial interests in the corporations that make war things. An addled doofus like Biden can be and would be easily controlled and manipulated to their liking. No surprise there. These "endorsements" are pure garbage, Sgt. George, and you know it.

Posts: 1370Majority of military vets are voting for a real patriot like Mighty Joe Biden
Here's more overwhelming proof that military don't like being called "losers" and "suckers" by a draft dodging trust fund crybaby who was too scared to go fight for his country.
Military people are all about honor and duty, two things that a Lying Pussy like Crybaby Donnie never learned in his pathetic loser life.
Joe Biden grew up with honor and duty to his country, and military guys respect the hell out of him for that and will proudly serve under him as their Commander-In-Chief.

200,000 dead but that is WITH highly aggressive lockdown measures in place for at least two months in the entire country.

Ask any public health expert how many corpses would be piled up right now if we treated COVID-19 like a regular flu season and just let people carry on with the normal activities and cough on each other at work, school, and home. We'd easily have over 2 million dead people right now.
Use your fucking head, you ignorant piece of shit. I'm tired of you pushing your retarded ass theories when you haven't spent a single day in med school or a graduate public health degree program. You don't have the credentials to properly debate this topic with any competence. In that respect, you're just like Low IQ Retard Donnie and his brilliant ideas to inject Clorox and light beams into your veins.
I notice that isn't stopping you.
You really are a fucking idiot, I'm not getting involved for you douchbag, somebody has to represent the left that isn't on Trumps payroll.

Posts: 307With respect for your opinion, I have to disagree. "Peanut allergies, homicide, falling out of windows," etc. Do not increase exponentially if left unchecked. This virus does. There is certainly some overlap as a portion of the people who die of the virus would have succumbed to a heart attack, diabetes, or some other disease, but far, far too many healthy people are needlessly dying from COVID alone. Yes, the cost of isolating and masking is economically unsustainable in the long term, I believe it is necessary in the short term, to keep this thing under control until a vaccine is developed.

If, as you say, you are still one of the left, then why? You say you knew in May that these people would do this. I knew it in March and paid for it through lost friendships when I made my feelings clear about what I knew would take place. I understand the feelings about Trump, but the left has tried to use the "pandemic" as a means of destroying the America they hate. I appreciate what you are saying but even though you say "we" as in the left owns it, many if not most of the left would completely disagree with you and most likely would do their damnedest to cancel you out. I'm no big fan or believer in the right but this year the left has shown itself to be without a shred of integrity, much less dignity. Can you still remain a part of this group when you know what they have done and what they are continuing to do?
