It's a huge risk honestly. I've been lucky and unlucky. I've been at this for almost a 10 years and I'm very close to calling it quits. I'm on the fence but I'm pretty sure I will soon. If you say to much or whenever you are messaging them they could be a LEO. Never know. If you say to much and it does end up being a cop you are screwed. However if you keep the conversation minimum then you should be ok as long as you don't ask for anything incriminating. Also get to the place early and watch the area. A lot of these girls have pimps. They call them friends or something else but most of the time they are pimps. Always trust your gut. If something doesn't feel right then get out. Also try to voice verify if you can. When I got robbed I could have prevented that if I had tried to voice verify. I wasn't really thinking and just didn't do that. Also never ever send any money before meeting. 99.9% of the time it's a scam. Some will require a small deposit before meeting or a deposit before giving out their room number. Don't do it. Also don't do the gift cards either. They will require the numbers before they will see you. I was bored and just wanted to see how far it would run before they started asking for the numbers on the card. Even if you tell them that you won't send the numbers before and promise not to do that they will always ask for the numbers. Also if the girl requires ya to go to webcam and needs a vote or buy something cheap don't do it. I use to do that in my early twenties and all promising to meet me and none of them did. Also one of the strippers I use to see over at Trophy club told she was being a cam mode and they can't meet guys that buy their shows. So don't do it.

Great advice from SC Wild about the hobby and I agree with most of his points. When I started in the hobby I had no idea about this forum so you're already ahead and most guys would probably agree. Secondly ask yourself what do you really want? Since I'm divorced I want to have my needs met without the hassles that come with traditional relationships or marriage and some escorts fill this need. Until I find the right one for me I'll continue to be very selctive in this hobby. It can be very costly and as Wild says you'll have some fantastic visits with some providers and you're going to have some visits where you wish you had your donation back. If you are not comfortable pulling the trigger then a traditional relationship may be your cup of tea and that's okay. No one in their right mind wants to visit LEO or get caught up but that's an inherent risk that's out there and you should look for girls that have reviews (good or bad) for you to see. This is one way to protect yourself but still there's risks.

Dude this hobby may not be for you. Not trying to discourage you but most of us that's been in the hobby a while use our gut instinct. Can't say that I have never been burned or ripped off but I will say if it didn't feel right in my gut I bailed or moved on. That has saved me a more times than not. If you want to play the game you going to have to accept the fact for 1 your going to spend some serious dough and 2 you may loose sometimes. But if you do your research and use some caution I think you will be fine. As far as STD's go, you can catch something from a girl you met at the bar or hell even at church. Again research and look for signs of any demons. You would be surprised of how many girls post pictures in their adds and don't even think about what's in the background.
