I hope he wasn't. I was reading about people who are on ventilators. Apparently, the ventilators are really rough on the lungs, and they have to be. Something like 85% of the covid patients with ventilators die, or some similar number. It's got to be awful. I had a tube pushed down my throat for a colonoscopy, and I hurt for a couple of days.

Agreed. 100%. One of the big problems we have now is the politicalization of everything regarding this virus. My fb feed is a cross section of people screaming about this viewpoint and that viewpoint and blah blah. My head hurts from all of this.

Another thing is that the quickie tests are not very accurate. These tests need to get to 90-95% accuracy for them to be really useful. 80-85% accuracy isn't "good enough" quite yet.

On CNBC this morning, scott Gottlieb talked about this issue. The quickie tests are actually useful in certain situations. Apparently, when they report a positive result, it is pretty much guaranteed to be positive. The quick tests appear to report false negatives. Medical pros can use a more accurate test if they need to if the patient had symptoms.

When I was waiting for curbside food take out, the restaurant was packed and over a hundred people went in and out. Only one wore face mask. Ironically, there were 5 cars waiting at curb side take out and the drivers all wore masks. It is stupid people like this that make C-19 as contagious as it is. People don't think they can die. I just recover from C19 now and I can tell you this virus is as nasty as it gets. I walked into emergency and a few hours later, I don't have a clue what was going on. I woke up 3 weeks later in rehab.

Do you and others realize testing is not the be all and end all? So you test negative today, so what? You might have already come in contact with it but it has not incubated enough to show up on a test.

It's going to take a while to create a working vaccine. It's got to be safe and actually work in the human body, which is a major undertaking. Many vaccines get to the point of testing in the human body In large numbers of people, and just don't work.

The last 2 days before I got the Covid 19 I spent in Oasis having ribeye steaks with a few of my fav hot girls. I did not get any dances for fear of catching the virus. None of the girls got the virus. Maybe I am older than them. I tried to be careful, but apparently not enough.

That Vaccine will most likely give you Coronavirus just like how The Flu Vaccine gives you the Flu I think it's almost a no win situation and the fact the USA has a complete idiot for a President doesn't make it any better.

If strip clubs (or any other public places of business) are equipped with testing that provides immediate and reliable test results then businesses can reopen safely and responsibly. Using Follies as an example, a test administrator (perhaps in a hazmat suit) in the Follies parking lot gives you a test while you are still parked in your vehicle. You're only allowed to exit your vehicle and pay admission to Follies if your test comes back negative. If positive, you must exit the parking lot.

This provides a continuous testing framework since this test (with instant results) could theoretically be implemented by all public establishments before its workers and patrons are allowed to enter / re-enter (no exceptions). Without a continuous testing framework then reopening seems like an enormous gamble.

A company called Abbott has been and still is producing exactly this type of testing kit at scale. What's shocking to me is that there is no federal mandate that funds and deploys continuous testing. This solution seems like a silver bullet in terms of curbing the spread, saving lives, boosting consumer confidence, and speeding up economic recovery while we wait for a vaccine. The only real downside to this approach is that it will take longer to get inside a place of business.

Who wants to go through all of that just to go inside a damn strip club I mean people not going to be bothered with it too much of a hassle to everyone. I say this the strip club scene probably will never recover from this Coronavirus pandemic.
