Posts: 93Here. There is nothing to report. Strip clubs are closed until end of this month last I heard. Gov Kemp will allow nightclubs, etc to reopen on the 31st. If you're looking for your favorite stripper, check out IG, snap, and / or the various escort sites as some have been advertising their money maker.

Posts: 135It sounds like he had an endoscopy at the same time they did a colonoscopy. Gastroenterologists do both and they are often done at the same time they have you knocked out for a colonoscopy, particularly if you are having problems swallowing or bad acid reflux. They are looking at your esophagus. It can cause your throat to be sore for a few days.

Posts: 13634Seriously, had a colonoscopy once. Nothing inside the southern vector other than a long periscope when I was under and never felt a thing. Not sure why your throat would've been part of a colon polyp probe.

Posts: 686I have no idea what was going on. They said they were going to stick something down my airway. I hurt for a couple of days in my throat. Hope they didn't knock me out and make gay porn. Hahaha.

Posts: 1181There are a lot of Doctors saying that Ventilators should be an absolute last resort as the ventilator itself has a higher chance of killing them before the COVID does.

Posts: 686I hope he wasn't. I was reading about people who are on ventilators. Apparently, the ventilators are really rough on the lungs, and they have to be. Something like 85% of the covid patients with ventilators die, or some similar number. It's got to be awful. I had a tube pushed down my throat for a colonoscopy, and I hurt for a couple of days.

Posts: 686On CNBC this morning, scott Gottlieb talked about this issue. The quickie tests are actually useful in certain situations. Apparently, when they report a positive result, it is pretty much guaranteed to be positive. The quick tests appear to report false negatives. Medical pros can use a more accurate test if they need to if the patient had symptoms.

Posts: 686Agreed. 100%. One of the big problems we have now is the politicalization of everything regarding this virus. My fb feed is a cross section of people screaming about this viewpoint and that viewpoint and blah blah. My head hurts from all of this.

Another thing is that the quickie tests are not very accurate. These tests need to get to 90-95% accuracy for them to be really useful. 80-85% accuracy isn't "good enough" quite yet.

Posts: 1181Do you and others realize testing is not the be all and end all? So you test negative today, so what? You might have already come in contact with it but it has not incubated enough to show up on a test.

Posts: 686It's going to take a while to create a working vaccine. It's got to be safe and actually work in the human body, which is a major undertaking. Many vaccines get to the point of testing in the human body In large numbers of people, and just don't work.

The last 2 days before I got the Covid 19 I spent in Oasis having ribeye steaks with a few of my fav hot girls. I did not get any dances for fear of catching the virus. None of the girls got the virus. Maybe I am older than them. I tried to be careful, but apparently not enough.
