For what it's worth, we are not "mongers" either. A monger is someone who SELLS or PROMOTES something, as in fish monger (a seller of fish) or a fear monger (a person who attempts to spread fear) or a war monger. Technically, then, a whoremonger would be a pimp, not the client.

Read the news! Billions are scammed from people in the USA every year. Scammers don't think we're dumb, they know it. Are you intimating that you have never been scammed out of money in your life? I have read several posts on here of mongers that sent money up front in a scam. Been going on a long time, but of course accelerating now that about 30 million Americans are sitting home unemployed getting bored with Netflix and looking for "creative" ways to make money. So why do they do it? Because it works, and its pretty easy. Copy some pics, write an ad, post it all over the country on free sites, and set up some autoresponders and a payment account. One national ad may generate 500 "dumb" responses sending advances and making someone a quick $10 k or more. If it didn't work, it would not proliferate.
