I rarely use the minutes because I have TextNow phone app, everything works great and free on WiFi.
Tracfone let's you carry over minutes and Data, as long as you don't let it expire.

One of the top rules of this hobby: invest in either a burner phone that you pay with in cash and can deactivate at any time. Or download Textfree, turn OFF the notifications, and select "Hide Apps" in your phone (as well as password lock it with a Power Battery Saver app). The first option is much safer, but if you can't get a new phone without getting caught at home, the second option saves a lot of headaches when it comes to ignoring spamming providers.
