any time I do anything related to this hobby and that forces me to always login to my google accounts and prevents me from mixing them up since it won't remember those account names when in a regular browsing session.

What would you do related to this hobby that requires you to login to your google account? I try to avoid google account as much as possible, but of course it is enabled on my regular phone for Android google play store, etc. But I ever login to google account on my computer.

And of course always use a VPN for doing anything and everything.

I think you are mistaken on what I was saying. Up to 2018 I had physical separate burner cell for my adult activities. Last year I started using the app called Burner which to me is alot safer and simpler than using Google Voice.

Burner app still seems to be linked to your main phone or number. I suppose it depends on if you are trying to conceal from significant other or from the some psycho provider tracking you down for whatever reason (s).

If anyone asks for money upfront, you can count on it being a scam and you never seeing them or getting your money back. I try to report those accounts whenever possible.

To me, the risk of someone finding a burner phone is higher. I'm vary careful about launching my browser in private mode any time I do anything related to this hobby and that forces me to always login to my google accounts and prevents me from mixing them up since it won't remember those account names when in a regular browsing session. A burner on the other hand is something physical that I have to keep hidden and I think I'm more likely to make a mistake there. Oh and yes I do know that private mode doesn't really make you private, it just helps cover your tracks on your computer. Of course in the end it's all a matter of what we deem an acceptable risk and what works best for us.

It could be $50 per month I would still pay it. Just the convenience of not having a separate phone anymore is worth the cost.

If you create a secondary google account and sign up for google voice there, you're first number is free, heck you can add addional numbers for a one time fee of $20. The only thing is, swapping numbers is not intuitive. But google voice is the reason I no longer have a burner phone.

It's like having a dual sim card phone. Heck currently I have 2 numbers on google voice so tripple sim? Yeah you can use the app, I just use the browser in incognito mode and have all my calls / texts forwarded to my real number. I reply and google does all the work of replying as though it's coming from my google voice number.
