I agree. A veteran out here on the west coast, Hollywood Guy, says that he avoids any profiles that have any negativity in them. It doesn't bode well to find the type of girl he is interested in, a true non-pro who is actually doing this for the first time. Obviously, lots of experience (bad) disqualifies them for that.

I think it's hilarious that you guys think the girls read profiles. If they're not reading the profiles of hot 22 yr olds on their traditional dating sites like Tinder and Hinge, then why would they read ours. Dating sites for anyone under 40, are "swiping" pictures only. Nobody reads profiles. It's almost 2020. I know that a lot of you guys have been married for a very long time, but you need to talk to your single friends about how dating sites work. Profiles are just for clever jokes in case the girl actually reads it. And the girls who actually read it are the lonely, fat, "undesirables."

When I see comment like "Don't messag me if you're a scammer", "Don't ask for my private photos if we haven't had a conversation", "don't waste my time", etc. Its a turn off for me. Makes it sound like they've had a lot of bad experiences, which is not a good way to appeal to someone.

Our local board has seen a surge of platonic profiles the last few days, is it same in other areas? Just wondering if SA got another BS article published somewhere about how girls get paid lavish sums to go to dinner and on trips and never do anything sexual.

I remember that snapchat article a while back, never seen so many new profiles, all bought into it, then 2 weeks later when they got a dose of reality about how it actually works, 99% of them were deleted.
