Run several google / tineye searches on the photo you choose to make sure it comes up 0 places.

I don't believe the deleted unanswered emails should remove them from your own inbox. Like outlook if the sender deletes the send it stays in your inbox as an unread message. I think I've noticed some other bugs in seeking as well.
