My sense is that LE will let it be, but once other tenants in a typical grungy strip mall containing a MP start complaining to the landlord, the landlord will cover his ass and evict the MP business. However, it looks like some of the operators are conducting sketchy transactions where the name of the business is changed and it appears that there is new ownership and the illusion that it is now a legit MP. The landlord may not be completely satisfied, but with the rent getting paid on time every month, is content to let the "new" operator carry on as any knowledge he had about the original operation is now cured by the "expectation" that a new owner is running a clean operation at least until he gets fresh complaints from tenants and LE. Tough business!

So, having been convinced that switter, slixa, cityxguide, massagerepublic and facebook are useless, I decided to hit the MP scene.
