"Sugarbabies" / "Arrangements" Amateurs or Not?

I have posted about this app before to find a FC for a reasonable price during the day. I haven't personally been using their service lately, I have been out of the bowl or letting the SB get the room. I get an email from them, they are about to raise investor $, so if you think providing this service is a growth industry, you can get in on the ground floor. They are using a crowd-investing model.

I live in Portland, Oregon and have been sugar playing for about 10 years. Over that period I've taken about 100 babies to the FC. My target age group is 21-29, with a small sprinkling of 30 and 40 somethings. The percentages of babies that I've met that go bare.

1st date: approx 75%.

2nd date: approx 90%.

3rd date: over 95%.

I've only kept two arrangements going beyond three dates with babies that require a cover. I typically keep and arrangement going when I find a baby that I enjoy, even if initially she insists on a cover. However, experience has shown me that babies are down with bare if you repeat with them, treat them nicely and respectfully and you are clean, trimmed and freshly showered.

I agree that skews them towards the civvie side. The go bareback on their drunken hook ups throughout their 20's, so they probably don't see a reason to change just because sugar is involved.

I'd say about 80% of the SBs I've gotten into bed were fine with bare -- several of them on round 2.

I have to say, I am genuinely shocked at the number of women that are happy to go bare. I've found it often (but not always) signals a woman that is a true amateur (though not always. It can also signal a woman who is desperate, but screening usually weeds them out). By contrast, the women who insist on a rubber are often (but not always) UTR. Occasionally also a woman that is very sex positive but also very active and just keeps it safe, which I respect, The dichotomy is not 100%, but my experience over the past few months (and stretching back over the past few years) is relatively close to accurate on it.

And then within that group of women who don't require protection, there is a not-insignificant number that aren't on birth control. Often on the younger side. A couple have mentioned Plan B so it is not totally out of mind. I have seen more and more young women have an IUD (thanks to the ACA).

I've definitely made a point of asking the BC question ahead of time so that the little head doesn't do the thinking in the heat of battle. I also have a couple of conversational topics that help flesh out anyone that is on the crazy baby daddy side.

Have faith, there are a lot of girls who are worth the time on SA. Keep plugging away, be nice, relatively easy going, and you can find a good hidden gem.

I totally agree! This past year there have been so many pros joining SA in my area that it is becoming a little discouraging working through them all. How many brothers here report suspect profiles to SA?

There is a real Dean of sugaring who has zillions of posts on the Richmond VA thread, JZLizard. You should read what he has to say. He also thinks escorts are the biggest risk to SA, and he said that before BP was killed.

Yes, I was aware. Thing is, I'm not really an expert SD at all. I'm a part-timer -- I spend most of my time with my SO and I'm happy in my relationship so I prioritize that. The successes I have in the bowl are no different than my civy dating experiences, it's just that it's hard to get laid in the civy dating scene without it interfering with an LTR, so sugaring is a nice option. It also makes it easier to establish a barrier against emotional attachment. What is perceived as SD skills here is really just skills in understanding and handling relationships with women that I developed at a very young age, it's an incredibly useful skill to have in the bowl.

But he's right. All of the shit that happened to BP and the crackdown at SA I laid down here in this thread several years before it happened. At that time, I got a lot of opposition; was told I was wrong and that it would never come to fruition. But it did.

I'd actually rather speak for myself than to be constantly referred to or have my thoughts relayed. Whenever I take the time to say something in writing here, I type what ever it is in a given context. When someone paraphrases only part of what I said, that context is lost. So, it you want to relay some opinion I've provided in the past, it's best to just say "another poster once said....." or provide a link to the post where I actually said it so that it can be viewed in the context of the original conversation. Nobody wants to be referenced continually unless they either need their ego fed or they are benefiting through royalty payments or something.

I wouldn't mind if it were once in a while but it does wear out its welcome when done continually.
