Posts: 151Given the price point, it was best just to stay with the Korean Agencies for me. They've all been Operating with the exception of RHF69.

Wow. That was a bit of a dry spell. So where are all the places advertising now? I was curious how the lack of BP and CL would impact business. I tried searching for a few of the numbers I had but no dice. Any casualties that anyone knows of?

I went to Arlington Therapy Saturday and saw Lotto. She commented on how business had been slow since they couldn't advertise as much. It will be interesting to see how the market changes.

Posts: 39Leah is 1/2 Latina, 1/2 Scandinavian. Has natural blonde hair, speaks English fluently. Attractive face & figure. I dropped in w / o calling, but you should call first (sorry, I forgot the number but you can find it on Yelp I think).

I found that some of my favorite local indies are advertising here:
https://www.massageanywhere.com
It's mostly legit, but you should recognize some pretty faces on there.

Agreed that AMPs, at least established ones with decent reputations, are probably doing fine. I think some AMPs relied on BP or CL more than others, especially if relatively new and in low-visibility locations.

IMHO, indie masseuses may have taken the biggest hit, especially ones who advertised in therapeutic massage sections. Most new ad sites are geared toward escorts and not so much toward massage. The ones who are probably doing ok are those who had a reputation for great customer service and cultivated a good base of repeat customers (ex. Thai KK, Tara, etc.) while those who relied on a constant churn of new clients are probably not doing as well.

Yes, the Internet has a history but one has to wonder if some providers simply moved on. We'll have to see who's still active and who isn't.
Time and money have been in short supply for me recently, but out of curiosity I perused some of the ad boards still available. Many of those ads are dubious at best, even more dubious than the Asian crapshoot ads which dominated Backpage the last couple of years. On one site I also found some ads for providers who had supposedly retired. So this will definitely be an interesting season.

It's true, the crackdown put a damper on activities, but the talent didn't just go away. It's still out there and available, if you do your searches right. And, there are a couple sites where ads are still up. You just have to be smart about your searches. I won't insult you by doing your thinking for you, but I'll just remind you that the Net has a history. You can still find the old contacts on some of the websites like BP that have closed. Some of those contact numbers aren't valid any loner, but others are.

And, of course, the AMPs are still around. The clampdown didn't bother them much, since they didn't much depend on sites like CL and BP for business. What the new (or, rather, revamped) USASG now needs is the sharing of our findings.

Posts: 84Glad that the forum is back but it is going to be a pain in the ass to find ads because of the crackdown. Even my regular disappeared from the scene. So, I'm starting from zero now. The only positive thing about the crackdown is that I saved a lot of money. LOL.

Posts: 413I'm black and mixed. I had one provider ask me if I spoke spanish and then when I said no asked me to send a pic. Mind you, most can't tell if I'm all the way black or not, she just stopped responding LOL She wasn't thai tho. Crazy that people can be in this line of work and discriminate. Money is the only color that should matter.
