See post #993 below. Isn't this story two years old? Hasn't she been in jail ever since? What's there to be careful of with her? Is she doing incall from jail or something? Or is she out now this the warning?

Guys, as I said, I had a good time and she was skilled and attractive. But, not accurate photos. I simply wasn't happy because I paid for the full hour and she told me 25-30 in it was only 1 pop and I was out the door. After my review, she offered to make it up. I'm going to pass. While I don't think she would retaliate against me for an objective review, with her past I don't want to risk it. Be safe out there.

Posts: 1370Exactly why I think the current law as written will get struck down by the Supreme Court. Basically a girl just has to post a flirty ad on Facebook and the feds can shut down a $100 billion website because it supports "trafficking"? Zero common sense.

Posts: 437The sex trafficking won't be challenged, but the law is unusually broad in it's application. The way it's written Google, FB and any site that permits posting of information could get caught up in this. Also chat lines and really any kind of dating site. The problem will still persist even with this legislation as the web sites will just move to friendlier territories.

Which company is going to contest a law with the words "sex trafficking"? Also, need some standing to even get near the Supreme Court. And common sense isn't usually the basis for court decisions.

Posts: 1370I still get the gut feeling tells me this SESTA nonsense will be overturned by the Supreme Court. Only about 1% of people in this hobby are being trafficked against their will. Everyone else is doing it as consenting adults and not being coerced. This law is too broad and hurts too many innocent people and will be ruled unconstitutional. It's the same thing as shutting down all firearm related discussion boards just because 1% of people on those boards might commit a crime with a gun. Really stupid laws here if you just think about it from a common sense perspective.

They won't stop until extramarital sex of all types is wiped out. It won't happen, but they won't stop trying. They want everyone's lives to be as miserably uptight as their own.

I haven't used backpage that often, never really in the past several months, since finding out about USA Sex Guide. This website is all I need so hopefully it stays active. It will be tough dealing with my depression without escorts!

This law was specifically crafted to hang Backpage, I am talking partially out of my ass because the facts are hazy in my memory, the government has dirt on Backpage showing they were directly involved in promoting and / or encouraging sex trade ads but were not able to shut them down, Backpage was complicit but they were unable to make them liable for users posts. This law gave them the tool to hang them. In the end normally I would be surprised that this law stands the test but given the current supreme court line up I give it a 50/50 chance that internet providers become liable for users posts. This is a nightmare for social media providers. Fuck Portman. And for you folks who are blasting Trump or Hillary, this is about Congress, not about those 2. Want to assign blame? Blame the folks who don't show up to vote, polls show the majority of us are progressives who believe in personal freedoms yet the regressive religious folks keeps winning. Don't *****, vote, and encourage people to vote. Open minded people please!

Posts: 359The SESTA / FOSTA Bill
This was in the works for some time and it was USA Senators Rob Portman (R-OH), Tom Carper (D-RI), and Claire McCaskill (D-MO) the main sponsors and driving force behind the SESTA / FOSTA bill. Wouldn't matter who was the President because this was going to happen.
The two-year Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) inquiry, led by Portman and McCaskill, culminated in a report which found that*Backpage knowingly facilitated criminal sex trafficking of vulnerable women and children and then covered up evidence of these crimes in order to increase its own profits. *Backpage would not clean up the the real sex traffickers from the site.
SESTA which is awaiting the president's signature makes two important changes: (1) it allows sex trafficking victims to get the justice they deserve by removing the law's unintended liability*protections specifically for websites*that knowingly facilitate online sex trafficking; and (2) it allows state and local law enforcement to prosecute websites that violate federal sex trafficking laws.
This is going to get blow back on a lot of important people in Washington D. C. One of the most vocal groups in opposition to SESTA / FOSTA were sex workers, who spoke out about how the bills would put their lives at risk and how it would put the lives of trafficking victims at risk, often making it more difficult for victims to find information on how to get help or to protect themselves. Indeed, there are already reports of information sites shutting down entirely. But it's also interesting to see that sex workers are continuing to fight this -- including reports of a Google Doc making the rounds where sex workers can expose members of Congress who have used their services.

Way to go Congress. SESTA also known as the Bill to Move E-commerce out of America has passed. What a bunch of maroons.
A2 and company better send a donation to Portman's re-election to thank him for eliminating his US based competitors.

The USA Congress has passed the Stop Enabling Sex-Trafficking Act (SESTA, also known as The Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act or FOSTA). SESTA amends Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act, a federal law which has served as the bedrock of protection for online publishers from Facebook, Yelp, Reddit and Twitter to The Erotic Review from being held liable for user's posts on their sites. Under SESTA / FOSTA, the USA Government can prosecute websites and those that operate them criminally for posts made by users.
As a result of this new law, TER has made the difficult decision to block access to the website from the United States until such time as the courts have enjoined enforcement of the law, the law has been repealed or amended, or TER has found a way to sufficiently address any legal concerns created by the new law. TER is not alone in responding to this threat to your First Amendment Rights: Craigslist has pulled all of its Personal Ads, Reddit has closed a number of Subreddits and sites such as * and Men4 RentNow have gone completely dark. Other websites have taken or are expected to take similar actions.
TER will suspend recurring billing for all USA Monthly subscribers as well as provide a credit to all other USA Subscribers equal to the period TER remains blocked to USA Users.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but do not believe that TER has any other choice as long as the law remains in effect. We hope to see you soon! If you have any questions please contact support@theeroticreview.com and we will do our best to answer them.
