I have medical training, and can tell you that it would be a very good idea to be careful; the article also mentioned high incidence of Hepatitis C in the same patients as well. HIV commonly coinfects with syphilis, which is very hard to cure for HIV+ individuals. Meaning, they are often carriers of both. There are a lot of girls in this hobby that have had that disease (look around, you can find pics of girls with the ulcers and I have met three that had open lesions). It's your thing, so it's your call; I just posted the article because I thought people would want to know.

So I'm in the medical profession. Do you floss and brush your teeth before seeing your date. If your not a frequently flossor and you do floss prior to your visit or if she does. You have a open medium for the virus to pass through especially if you notice some blood when you spit. Remember safe sex and covers prevents std's and hiv. Just some dental hygiene for your thoughts. Be safe. FW.
